I found out what Fox is doing in the order release of The Simpsons.

I wonder if Best Buy will have one of their special promotions in next week's ad. You know "Buy 2 Save $10" or "Buy 3 Save $15". I only have the first season. I would love to get 2-6 if there was some sort of deal that would save me some money!

Okay LiMulan
Anyways, just saw the Best Buy ad and good news everyone!
Simpsons Season 6 is supposed to be 29.99 (the price tag is placed over Southpark but they're next to each other).
Simpsons Season 5 is priced at 34.99; Family Guy (Season 1 & 2) are individually priced at 37.99.
Oh! And for Sin City (which I assume is 16.99 at Best Buy). Here:
FREE COMIC BOOK instantly, with purchase of Sin City DVD or UMD for PSP gaming system. (Minimum 100 per store. No rainchecks).
And OTHER deals:
Circuit City:
- "Save $10 when you buy Simpsons S6 with any other season of The Simpsons."
- Sin City: 14.99 (with free litho)
Target:
- Season 5 & 6 of Simpsons are both priced at 29.99
- (and for any W&G fan), S4 is $29.99 with a $5 gift card

Today I bought the set and altough it may look cool, it actually is very cheap. The plastic is not of that much quality. Also when you open the case, the DVDS case open horizonatlly instead of vertically as opposed to the main packaging (that opens vertically).
But even so, I'll keep it.
I just hope that after the last head packaging they change to a new style... at least that'll make it "uniformed" as every 5th set will have a different look.

I want this badly, but I have to get season 5 first.

sofaking is right.
You can buy these sets in any order (except for season 6 and 7 with Who Shot Mr. Burns; but that's the only one).
I started buying them from Season 2 (I don't have and don't care for Season One as I know I won't be watching those episodes often. In fact, that happens to me with Season 2). Then when I had the money to buy another set, I bought Season 4 instead of 3.... that was the last one I got).
Just buy them in any way you want. It really doesn't matter.

Don't know about there but Spec's Music here sells DVDS on Monday (a day before the official release date). And it is not just as it is implied, but they have advertising for it in the store.
PS
That's the way I got Aladdin and Bambi.

It doesn't really work that way with me. I have to have things like this chronologically. If I have 1-4 and then get 6 without getting 5, I would eventually go crazy. My mind would keep telling me that there's a gap in my collection, and I wouldn't feel at peace unless I went out and bought season 5 also. It's just a little quirk I have.Evil Genie Jafar wrote:Just buy them in any way you want. It really doesn't matter.
But it is tempting. This does look like an all-around better set than any of the previous seasons, and the bonus features look so informative.
