I'm looking forward to this as well! :D The only version I have of Tarzan on DVD is the crappy single-disc one (which actually was my very first DVD I think  )
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I'm waiting on this one, too. The 2-disc edition has been released here in Mexico, but I want the US version to keep consistency in my collection. I do hope this new release has a MAKING OF documentary.

Take a look at The Lion King's second disc, there's not a making-of to be found.

DVDAnswers.com has new Hi-Res artwork posted. (Sorry about the FPO in the middle of the cover. I don't know what that is.)

What is this? No "2-Disc Set" Banner at the top? Maybe Disney decided to make this a one-disc instead. O well. The cover is pretty good. I don't like the fact that Tantor and Terk have that 3-D texture to them while Tarzan and Jane look very hand-drawn. Does that make since?

Good find. Well, at least now we have official confirmation of 2 discs. There's going to be much more in this set than what was said in the fact sheet. Disney just likes to advertize their set-top games and music videos more than their making-of, for some reason. I guess Disney only thinks kids buy their DVDs, so that's all they advertize.

In my opinion the october release(s) of Tarzan (and TENG) will be (nearly) exact copies of the prior released CE. (this is based on the 2-Disc SE release of Tarzan in many european countries)

Another thing I noticed was that it was unusual for Disney to put the "2-Disc" part on the cover spine. Usually it just says "special edition", so I guess either this isn't the final image, or Disney is changing their fashion a little. The "Disney's original adventure" banner is a little random also. Usually they'd be advertizing a set-top game or a "vertual jungle", or merely saying "2-Disc set".

They are also bringing back a title that is in vault far less than normal. So no surprise if it is not the normal way.

for goofy: (or any other who are curious)

FPO - (For Position Only) It's a design term.

I think this too but I'm worried because the fact-sheets were so brief. I just hope they are because I didn't get either of them. :?

Thanks, I was so confused when I saw it! :)

Well, Tarzan II has a banner that reads "The Legend Begins". So I guess they are trying to tie the two together. I don't like it. I prefer the boring "2-Disc Set".

Yeah, I will be getting that (I always say that about all DVDs, but I never have the time/money.lol) I may just do this since I recorded the complete series off of T.V (The Legend of Tarzan) so this would complete it.
Wants Muppet Babies on DVD!!
Hopefully if Duckales and Rescue Rangers sell well we will get it!! Don't forget Gummi Bears!
