Where do you get the idea it is only One-Disc?Timon/Pumba fan wrote:You mean it's only on 1 disc!!!
Life was good! Life was good!
First, off the title of this thread is "Tarzan: 2-Disc Special Edition DVD Fact Sheet". And it states in the fact-sheet that it is a 2-Disc.

I think T/Pfan is referring to this from the front page:

I believe that's talking about the new TENG DVD, not Tarzan.the announcement does not even specify if this will be a two-disc set.

If those are all the bonus features this will have, there's no way I'll be buying it. I'd rather wait out another re-release of the proper 2-disc CE, or go pay $70 on Ebay for the old one.
This really doesn't make sense, though. Wasn't the recent 2-disc release of this movie in Europe basically a port of the old North American CE? Why would Disney screw us North Americans over like this?

I got lucky, two years ago. I went into a Hollywood Video store, and they had a Disney section. They had several out of print Disney DVD's, and Tarzan: Collectors Edition was one of them. I had seen Tarzan at the cinema, and LOVED it. I decided to pick up the Tarzan: Collectors Edition, and am very glad I did. I only had to pay $28.00 with the tax, so it wasn't a bad deal, at all! After that, I really got into collecting Disney DVD's, and have picked up a great many out of print DVD's, since then.
At any rate, I see no reason to pick up this new release of Tarzan, since I already own the previous Collectors Edition. However, if you do not have the previous Collectors Edition, I would certainly pick the new one up!

I'm hoping there's more than what's listed here too, but remember that this is just a fact sheet, not a full press release, so it's entirely possible that there's more to it.

Re: Tarzan: 2-Disc Special Edition DVD Fact Sheet
As you may have noticed from my post in the TENG fact sheet thread, I'm in quite a sarcastic mood today, so if anyone here hates complaining, don't read this post.
*weakly* Luke.......Don't do this to me Luke........post a good fact sheet.....please.
I'm guessing fact sheets are just previews on what's on disc one? I'm also guessing that the press release will be better? This is really a disappointment for a guy who doesn't own the Collector's Edition.
Can somebody fill me in? The press release will have more than this, right? The PR usually has more info than the FS, right? I don't really care if TENG's DVD stays as it is, but please tell me this will improve.

Ahh, yea. That's true. But for now, Tarzan re-released doesn't compare to the OOP CE.awallaceunc wrote:I'm hoping there's more than what's listed here too, but remember that this is just a fact sheet, not a full press release, so it's entirely possible that there's more to it.

Well, it's quite clear Disney is once again, not giving out all the details on their press prelease. Don't sweat it guys. Like the International editions, it will include most of the content from the previous releases (perhaps all, the text screens were probably only dropped from the International release due to all those peskey languages floating about Europe).
anyhow rejoice for
Strangers Like Me” music video performed by Everlife (NEW)
Is not on the International release. Once again, America get's an addition!

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

There has got to be more than this on the DVD. They didn't even mention a "Making-Of" Feature. No matter what it has, I will definetly be getting this edition because my single-disc has a huge scratch and doesn't play half the movie. Plus I missed the CE. Gosh Disney is overwhelming me with DVD releases!
