First bit is interesting, and exciting! :D
About the L&S bonus, wasn't that a part of the 1 disc L&S?

This is an all new short for the L+S 2 dvd. You are probably thinking of a "Stitch in Time". That was the one where Stitch was supposedly present in classic disney movies like under the log in Snow White when the dwarfs are going home etc.

L&S 2 is fairly short. :( I'm excited about the Muppets and Cinderella's bonus features. This is a good year for Disney DVD!

Yeah I thought that too, this as well as Tarzan 2 seem to be coming in at under the average and I hope it's not something that continues. Although it's quality not quantity, and I'm hoping ShaG will be a good one.

You know maybe they should have put that 5 minute "Origins of stitch" short as a prolgue to the film, then it would have a 70 minute run time ;)

Yeah that would be cool... Maybe in order to achieve better animation results, they had to cut the feature's length?

Since BVUK always leaves out bonus material, why doesn't it leave out the ESPN feature? For a change the inferior release would actually be better!

Howdy!

I am from Texas and I am a person whose future lies across the pond in England. When my family was going to see The Pacifier at a drive-in we've never been to before (The Galaxy, just an hour or so out of Dallas), I decided to join along even though it seemed like infinity until the BBFC would add this title to their listings. I didn't notice the "Dialogue substituted" part at the top, so I didn't let it count.

However, to mend for a bad thing that I had done in the family back in late June, I decided to watch the DVD (which had just come out that day) with them. I wasn't planning to watch the DVD because, even though the movie's good, the DVD looked bad (including a lack of Spanish), but I had to do it for my family (whom I love very much). :D Yeah, from reading the BBFC postings (the cinema version), I felt a little off when the kids said "s**z" (z added to avoid people from confusing it with s**t) twice in the film.

Now here's the bad part: the day after seeing the DVD, I went to BBFC, and guess what? THIS WAS ACTUALLY CUT IN THE UK! :jawdrop: I felt so heart-broken when reading this! At the beginning of 2005, I had sort of a bet to myself that I'd refrain from watching anything left out on DVDs and movies in the UK but left in on American versions (and beieve me, where I live, this is tough!) until I move to England, hopefully in 2010 or so. :)

Well, at least I decided to revise my plan to the "Three Strikes" game! That's strike one (one for each title, not for each time I see the movie); two more and I'm out!

Speaking of which, I almost got two strikes! I thought The Dukes of Hazzard seemed like a cool movie, that I wanted to see it sometime. Good thing I didn't! See the rest of the story at my blog:

Thank you.

More Cinderella features passed, most of the titles are pretty unenlightening though!

CINDERELLA - SPECIAL EDITION - DVD BONUS

00:07:22:08 CINDERELLA (B/W)
00:03:53:15 `NO TITLE ON SCREEN (B/W)
00:00:22:17 1950 IS THE CINDERELLA YEAR
00:02:18:22 CINDERELLA
00:01:24:06 CINDERELLA
00:01:30:04 CINDERELLA
00:01:55:02 CINDERELLA
00:01:23:16 CINDERELLA
00:03:15:04 CINDERELLA

The first is clearly the short, but as for the rest of it, who knows!?

Here's something interesting:

DISNEY CHRISTMAS FAVOURITES
Video Feature
Run Time 58m 35s
n/a DISNEY CHRISTMAS FAVOURITES
00:58:35:07 MICKEY'S MIXED NUTS
A CHRISTMAS CRUELLA
DONALD DUCK - TOY TINKERS
SNOW PLACE TO HIDE

Looks like another Christmas cartoon compilation. 'Mickey's Mixed Nuts' is a Mouse works Short, 'Toy Tinkers' is a classic Donald Short, but it's the other two that are more interesting! 'A Christmas Cruella' is an epsisode of the 101 Dalmatians TV Series and 'Snow Place to Hide' appears to be an episode of Quack Pack.

This might be interesting enough to warrant a purchase, espescially with the UKs lack of ever showing Quack Pack!
