The screening I saw didn't have Superman or Harry Potter trailers.

I saw this yesterday- truly the best Batman movie ever, the best film of the summer (even better than Star Wars, hard to believe!) and the best comic book film I've seen.

Batman Begins- 4.5 out of 5
Cheers,

Not that good for Thursday but there probblay a few reasons why its makin less on the week day.

Spiderman 2 came out on a wed. it made tons of ach because ppl were excited to see it for sertain reasons
-Ppl wanted to kno if peter and MJ get together
-ppl find out if hes spiderman
-The Unmasking scence with harry

Lord Of The Rings came Out also on a wed and it made tons of cash because ppl wnted to see the ring get destroyed.

With Episode 3 ppl saw it on the weekday because its star wars and ppl wanted to see what the transform of vader was like.

Kids are in school ppl are in work... so ppl arent going to be going to the movies to see it.

Plus batman has nothing to back it up. All the movies I metioned had something that made ppl wanna see it so they rushed.. Batman looks entertaining bt people can wait.

So Overall batman has 24million
We will probb get 70million to 80 over the weekend
That should bring its total to either 94-104million over the weekend.

Then Bats is pretty much at the top cause next week herbie is out but that will probblay have a mean girls opening.

This movie will do fine till War of The worlds.

Batman Begins Review
Sarring: Christian Bale, Katie Holmes, Micheal Caine, Liam Neesons, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman.

Batman has had some recent sucess over the years. Batman The animated series primered in 92 an tons of people loved it. They thought it had the feel of the original Batman movie made by Tim Burton. Then In The Mid 90s They came out With Batman Forever staring Val Kimer as The Bats. It got mixed Reviews but Good Box Office number. Then a few Years later They came oyt with Batman and Robin staring George Clooney as The bats. It got aful reviews and did kindof poor at The box Office. Batman fans thought that it couldnt get worse... well they were wrong last year they came out with Catwoman starring Halle Berry. Aful Review and Low box Office Numbers. Since 2002 comic movies have been in. Sonys Spiderman starring Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst made over 400 million at the box office. After that they came out with The Hulk, Daredevi, and X2. There are two ways you can look at Batman. One way ids the campy style version where its not that serious and it has more humor. The other version of Batman is more dark and serious. Director Chris Nolan decided to make a new Batman movie but a much darker version of it.

The Story folllows How Bruce Wayne became Batman... it tells the orgion on how he became it... It also deals with him facing two villians named Ra al Gual and Scarecrow. They are ruining the city and it is up to Batman to stop them.

What Worked:
- Christian Bale Is The BEST batman/ Bruce Wayne we ever seen
- The music composed for this was great
-Great acting from Christian Bale, Katie Holmes, Micheal Caine and More
-Alfred steals the show
-The Dark Setting of Gotham was great
-Good Villians
-Good Dialouge and story
-Amazing Action

What Didnt Work
- Sometimes Christian Bale didnt have a good Batman voice. It was good for the most part but sometimes it sounded like he had a cold.
-Sometimes the action was a little too fast and you couldnt tell who was hitting who

Thoughts
They Got This One Right. This One Is The Best Batman we have see. While I dont think it is as good as Spiderman it comes pretty close to it. The thing that is interestin about the movie is Batman himself. Its interesting to know why he is saving people... in the other movies you dont know why. The other thing that is interested is how Buce Wayne/Batman doesnt have any powers. Spiderman got super strength and power after he got bit, Superman was born with it, Daredevil got all his senthes and strength by getting hit w/ toxic, and the Xmen are mutants. Unlike them Bruce has to work hard. He makes his own gagets. He has to train and workout unlike all the other heros. Again the acting is Top Notch Bale is a graet actor and I hope he is in more upcoming films. Katie Holmes was great as Rachel and Micheal Caine stole the show as Alfred. Liam Nesson was a graet villian.

Closing Thoughts
Overall Batman Begins is the BEST film this year its better than star wars... It is the perfect summer Film and everyone even if you never read a comic book like me should go and check it out.

Overall Grade A+

Best Films of 2005 Sofar
1. Batman Begins A+
2. Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge Of The Sith A-
3. Hitch B+
4. Madagascar B

Other films I seen this year were only okay

In The Next Few Weeks I Should Be Reviewing
Mr and Mrs Smith, War Of The Worlds, Charlie and The Choclate Factory, Star Wars(Gotta Write a Full Review For that), and Fantastic 4
-Sometimes The act

Amazing is an understatement! This movie just puts every other superhero movie to shame! I'll review this post in about an hour or so!
Forgot to write the review! I don't have time today, but I'll probably get around to it tomorrow!

I think it'll be a hit. Remember that it also has to make up for the bad movies before it. Once word of mouth gets out more people will see it I'm sure!

At this time, a new sequel would be great!!
or it coulkd be a co-movie with this director and a really twisted mind like Tim Burton and create a movie where the main villian will be the mad hatter!

I'm really hyped about this movie. I've heard from many people that it's an amazing movie. I was never a big fan of the old Batman movies and wasn't really interested in seeing this either, but after seeing the trailer and playing the video game I became really interested in seeing it.
