I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to. The critics are giving it great reviews and it is supposed to be a really dark and serious movie, which fits the Batman franchise perfectly.

There is probably a 70% chance I'm going to see this in theaters. But since the reviews have been good and it seems to have a lot of hype, I'll probably see it. But, no movie this summer is, or will be, held higher in my mind than one that's already been released

I'll see it. They JUST opened an IMAX theatre at one of the multiplexes by my house, so I really want to go see it in IMAX format...

In the Apple Stores and the Apple section of CompUSA they have the Batman Cinemascope trailer playing in mpeg4 HighDef on the Apple 30" Cinema Display. It looks great and it is being presented in only 44% of the size and resolution of Blu-ray!

I'm not much of a superhero fan, so I probably won't go see it. It seems very dark, but as someone mentioned before that fits Batman perfectly.

I just watched it!!!
Is great, go to the movie theater right away and enjoy it!
even more if you watch it on Imax

by the way, this Batman is not gay at all as it seems to be on Batman forever and Batman & Robin and is pretty cool.
It explain you better why did Bruce felt so guilty about his parent´s dead, his training and the things on his gloves, and even the real killer of his parents

Actually, that's a very disappointing number. Star Wars made $15.5 million from midnight showings alone. And just last week, Mr. and Mrs. Smith opened with $18 million.

Thinking about it I actually agree with u guys. Mr an miss opend to 18 soo thats not that good. There are many reasons why batman may flop

-The movie itself looks to dark and kids will be scared of it
- The last two movies that had a Batman theme were Batman and Robin and Catwoman... they both got horrible reviews
- I think kids will personally find the story boring because its just really about Bruce Wayne

Reasons why it could do well
-The action looks like its great
- America is in the comic crave since sony released spider-man
-It batman
-Christian Bale as Bats, and Micheal Cane as Alfred is perfect, plus they have a great cast

Personally I hope Batman does well.... He is my 2nd favorite hero. I think bats/ bruce Wayne Is A very Cool Chracter. He has no powers atall hes has to work hard to be who he is. Its also not very easy for him unlike superman. Thats why i dont like superman... hes too powerful and nothing happens to him. Thats why Bats is more interestingcause he has to make gagets and work out to be the hero while superman is just him...

Anyway back to the subject the 15millon was LOW but its more of a word of mouth movie.. hers my prediction

Wed: 15million
Thur: 5million
Fri: 20million
Sat:40million
Sun:10milliom

So 70million probblay sounds rite with another 20 makes it 90 for the first 5.. Mr and mrs Smith will probb affect it alittle bit tho... heres my box office prediction

1. Batman 70million
2. Mr and Mrs Smith 30million
3. Madagascar 11million
4. Star Wars 7million

Those Are The Top Movies For The Week Probb Batman will probblay have good B.O. weekend till war of the worlds comes out after cause after that you have fantastic 4 willy wonka and the island... so Batman will probblay be in the box office all summer cause of the few hits comin out

Probblay all together the film will have 215million
It will probblay look like this at the end of the year

1. Star Wars 375million
2. War of The worlds 302million
3. Harry Potter 292million
4.Chronicles of Narnia 270
5.King Kong 245

So Batman wont be in the top 5 of the year but probblay in the top 10

So overall it will do good an we will probblay see the movie batman 2 years from now

Here are what the sequels i think are gonna be called

Batman Begins
The Batman
Batman Ends

A Batman movie where he would fight The Joker for the last time, where it showed Robin´s death like on the comic, and the vengance of Batman at his very last fight with his nemesis.

that would be great!
