I am HORRIBLE with the live action films older than say, the last ten years. Heck, I'm even stumped by a couple of the animated caps

You don't have to be a forum member to enter - you just have to identify 12 or more correctly, and provide an address and a DVD selection. So as long as you did that, you're in as good shape as the 50 or so others who have.

Personally, I hope someone who has very few DVDs wins (so counting me out). I can afford to buy stuff regularly (for the moment), and I know there are lots of board members who want to build their collection.

Luke! I officially withdraw my entry! (This is not a joke). Or alternatively, I will donate any prize I should win (in the unlikely event) to whoever NEEDS the DVD the most (i.e. who has the smallest collection that needs boosting).

There is no next round, unless you just mean the random draw and like the Contest page says, that's happening in about a month. I think it's like the weekend after the week after The Lion King comes out. I'll keep you posted on the main site and here, and I'll post a reminder when time to enter is running out.

With just 50ish valid entries in the running, the odds of winning this one are VERY good if you know your Disney movies and are one of the valid entries at this point. I don't anticipate hundreds of last-minute entries that are valid to come through.

Loomis, I'll keep you in and you can tell me what you want to do in the chance you win.

Repeats: There is no next round. (And there is no spoon, either.)

I'll do the random draw thing the middle of October and announce the winner then. It's all listed on the Contest page, I think...and hope. Still under 60 valid entries at this point, so the odds of winning are better than last time.

Ok, PA. On the VERY slim chance that it is me who wins, the person who will be receiving the DVD can choose (if that is OK with Luke) something different to what my own prize selection was. You are the lead contender for the prize now PA (coz you were the only one who asked). Mind you, you did make the assumption that anything I would choose might be crappy!

Alright, well a list of answers was clearly posted somewhere. Some are wrong, surely. (Caddyshack isn't a Disney movie!)

But it's obvious when entries, which had slowed to one a day or so, suddenly extend to 20 in the last two days and everyone has the exact same guesses. So...since I really don't want someone to win who has never even been to the site and didn't even take the contest for themselves...I may just go ahead and disqualify any one that has the copy-and-paste list.

Sure, that's not really fair...but I'd rather have someone who actually visits the site (and ideally, contributes to the forum) winning than just some guy who copied and pasted and sent.

Haven't decided yet...but just letting you know. After all, your odds, which would have been like 1 in 60 if you have a correct entry in, would now be 1 in 80, or so.

Thoughts?

(And if anyone can find where it's been posted, I'd like to see that.)

Wow, thats not cool. We have a tight little community here, I dont think its right that people try to exploit us/you through these generous offerings. I'm also of the mentality that I would like to see a farmiliar registered user take home the prize, at least someone who gave it some effort. I vote to disqualify the 20+ recent entires. Maybe someone had leaked some information via pm?
