Hi

I have never heard of Scruffy, you will have to post a review of it on the forum when you get a copy of it.

I almost don't remember it myself. The cover looks familiar, I'll have to buy it :)

Perhaps me and Sunset can have a bidding war :D

You rock, my friend.
But of course I do ;)

Hey, if I win it, I'll even share it online like I did Ringing Bell. Perhaps not an entire page dedicated to it, but a simply file upload might suit it just fine :D

I'm downloading a clip of Ringing Bell right now. . . it may be a while, I still live in the dark ages with this dial-up!

By the way, I believe that Chirin no Suzu translates into Chirin's Bell or The Bell of Chirin. Which ever one sounds better.

Scruffy? uh oh.. I hope I won't have to hunt down this toon like I did Ringing Bell.. ( Curse you Siren ;)) looks like Pound Puppies in a way though.

I need to see the Little fox though. I keep hearing good things about it.

Mouse and His Child? I don't remember too much ..except that theme at the beginning was sooo annoying

I every so vaguely remember Mouse and His Child. It is like how I remembered Ringing Bell. Once I watched it again, it all came back to me

BTW, I added more video clips for Ringing Bell. You have the entire movie for the most part (just a few very short in between scenes of scenery were cut, less then a minute)

Heh heh. . . when my boyfriend came home last night, I told him that I wanted to find a copy of Scruffy, and he was like, "Oh, I hated that cartoon!!!"

:?

All this time I was looking for it, and he could clearly remember watching it? And I thought for sure I had mentioned it to him before; maybe he needed the title to jog his memory. He was even able to give me a spoiler!

He admitted he might appreciate it more this time around; he didn't like most cartoons very much as a kid because he always reasoned they were for babies. I was the one that turned him around on the subject, and now he likes certain titles more than I do!

Speaking of obscure animation, does anyone here remember a live action special that featured an animated mouse? I can't remember the title. The main character was a detective named Justin Case, and the animated mouse could talk and was helping him solve some kind of case. I know it aired on one of the networks, and it was probably around 1989 (obviously a contender in the short-lived live action mixed with animation craze that was spawned by Roger Rabbit). I used to have it taped off TV but I suspect it got accidentally recorded over. I once asked about it at another forum but no one replied.

A Lion King video with this song inspired me. It was fun, but a pain in the arse at times...most of the time
