Hey everyone hows it hangin? Well anywho I havent been around much, I've been busy packing. I move next week to the other side of town so its a bit stressful for me. I have had hardly any time to make covers but I got some free time today and I had to start/finish/update my first pocahontas cover to go with the glorius new 2 disc edition.. the only thing that was not glorious was the cover art! In fact I thought it was hideous! I hate how they ruined the artwork by mutilating it! Well anywho I have all the original stuff and made one much much better.. to me at least. Ok enough.. lol here it is :D

Image

I spent a reeeeeeeeeally long time on this. I had to give pocahontas some flawless digital extensions to replace all her hair that was chopped off, or never created in the first place. Then I had to re-create some more grass for the back... took about 5 layer effects :D Then I had to re-create the white wind looking swirly things and blend them in with the front ones, just like her hair kinda but a lil bit easier. After that I did the special features and all that text/logo mumbo jumbo. And last but not least I did the fun stuff... decorating! All the lil leaves and stuff over the special features. I got that idea from the retail but I like mine better :D

Well im sure your sick of hearing about my cover design proccess. If your interested in my covers remember to pm me here for the info on my site.. I will get it to you whenever I get a chance. ByeeeeeeeeE :)

Still doing a great job there with those custom covers. Sorry I never replied to your PM I got from you a while back. I've been so busy but I'll get around to it.

I made a custom Fantasia cover but I accidentally deleted it cleaning up my computer a bit. :P
Right now I'm working in Illustrator making Canadian ratings logos so I can make some more custom covers.

I don't get a lot of time making them though since I've been working on my new website that's coming soon(er or later). :)

DaeLex I forgot if it has been asked but where and how do you print them? (too busy to go back and check if it has been mentioned... sheesh sorry if that irritates anyone). What kind of paper do you use? :)

Oh my lord! why are you making those silly billy? I have just about every single logo for dvds you could ever imagine, all in EPS or AI format... all fully scalable... meaning you can open them up at any size you like and you will never lose image quality... aka vector :D

Hmmm so you have those? Niiice... I would love to get all the logos eventually. So far I have quite a bit but compared to what you have... I probably have a small collection.

All vector too. Spiffy.

Great job, DaeLex! :thumb:

I really like that Cinderella cover. Out of all of your covers, this is probably my favorite one. I'm not really a fan of just copying the original cover art over and claiming it to be custom. I like this one where it is more unique. Keep up the good work!

I love the idea of putting the clock in the background. It does play a pivotal role in the film! Excellent work, DaeLex. :)
