What happened to the Masterpiece Editions DVD's???
I was browsing my DVD's and I came across Alice in Wonderland Masterpiece Edition. I opened the case and saw ads for Pocahontas and Mary Poppins Masterpiece Editions DVD's. We know that those have been bumped to Anniversary Editions. So what the heck happend to the Masterpiece Editions DVD's???

Totally. Outside the US, we've never really have a consistent set of names anyways. At least the US has SOMETHING resembling a line (Gold Collection).RJKD23 wrote:It's all in the name!![]()

Does anyone remember the Masterpiece Collection for VHS? They were the Disney classics in white clamshells with new coverart with Masterpiece Collection for the title. This came after the Black Diamond Classics and before the Gold Collection. How many DIsney classics made it into the Masterpiece Collection VHS line? I also recall they had a set of McDonald's Toys for the Masterpiece Collection.
I believe most of the Disney animated classics were released under that line except:
Fantasia
Saludos Amigos
Make Mine Music
The Rescuers Down Under
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
I think it started with either Snow White or The Lion King and ended with either the re-release of Alice in Wonderland or the re-release of The Great Mouse Detective.
