I am so excited about LatT being released in fall. However i still miss TLM. I am huge fans of both the movies. I do however have a question, Is there a possibility that 101 Dalmatians will be released October 2006, because it would be the movies 45th anniversary, and it's animated sequel would have been oop for 5 years, and it is the anniversary of the live action movie. Is this even a possibility????

I don't think anniversaries have much effect on the release of the Platinum Editions. This year is the 50th Anniversary of Lady And The Tramp after all, but it won't be released til' next March.Disney Villain wrote:Is there a possibility that 101 Dalmatians will be released October 2006, because it would be the movies 45th anniversary, and it's animated sequel would have been oop for 5 years, and it is the anniversary of the live action movie. Thanks to all that offered to help with my Avatar...Starion, RJKD23 and cj!

I'm starting a little project of my own, maybe some of you can help me!
The voice of Ariel (Jodi Bensen) graduated from my college, Millikin University in Decatur, IL! What i wanna do is have her come to the campus on the release of the Platinum Edition and i dunno, make it a big special event of some kind. Maybe she could sing "Part of Your World" for us and even sign some DVD's! I think this would be awesome, and a lot of my friends think it's a good idea too. i just don't know how to contact her, maybe if i looked her up in the alumni records... any ideas?

*sighes* At least you (americans) know that you will eventually get TLM DVD someday... We still have no word on the "Bambi" one! *cries* And no "Pocahontas" either...

I guess the alumni records would be the easiest way to contact her, even though it'll be probably be hard anyway... ^^;; Still, good luck! I hope you find her! (Even though I am jealous!
)
It was actually a good thing you missed the first release, 'cause you probably would have eventually bought the 2 disc DVD. Plus, you know what they say, "absence makes the heart grow fonder!" *lol* So you won't be able to stay a second away from TLM DVD!Luna wrote:I will be really happy when The Little Mermaid comes out on DVD again...I missed out on the first DVD release because I didn't have a DVD player at the time,and my VHS copy(from the original home video release) is starting to wear out......I don't really mind waiting,though(time flies,after all)..
What a great idea! You're so lucky! *is completely jealous*singerguy04 wrote:The voice of Ariel (Jodi Bensen) graduated from my college, Millikin University in Decatur, IL!
