Explain Your Avatar
My new avatar celebrates an important Disney milestone. Ten years ago today, Man of the House (the original!) was released in theaters. It's certainly one of the studio's (or any studio's) finer live action films.
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president
I just watched Anastasia for the first time a few minutes ago and decided to use Pooka (from Anastasia) as my new avatar I also chose this as my avatar because he is a great character and also because Anastasia is a great movie

GASP! I have the Raccoons and the Lost Star on tape, and it was one of my favorites growing up! I've been thinking about buying the DVD set from Canada. . . maybe I'll go take another look at eBay. . .orestes. wrote: My avatar is from one of my all-time favourite shows, 'The Raccoons'. Nice.
I wish I had that special on tape.
I actually have volume 1 on DVD although I haven't been able to find volume 2 yet. I was buying some DVDs at Best Buy one day and I was shocked to see a lone copy of 'The Raccoons' volume 1 sitting on the shelf. It was a tad beat up but Best Buy boxsets seem to be that way. I had to pick it up because I might never see it again and buying online isn't my thing.

Jane (who has been absent from UD for quite some time) made this kickass Bree avatar for me! Thanks, RJDK and Wonderlicious for lobsterloving it (in the Beaches thread).

Ok, this is my 50th post and I'm going to change my avatar to another Christina Aguilera image. When I change the picture in a moment, you should see a recent picture of her with her new "classic Hollywood" style. I love it, and her new album this summer will have the classic '20s and '30s jazz style feel to it. I can't go through one day without thinking about it. I'm eagerly anticipating it!!!
