Tangela- the person who has just greatly insulted me  wrote:How about none??? Its a stupid film if you ask me... Anyway, why don't you buy The Rescuers, it is a much beter film...
Wo.... hold up there one second Tang..... u may not like TENG as much as some of us (ME!ME!) may like it..... but that doesn't give you the right to put it down like that..... after all *cough cough* doesn't my name give a little something away about my personal feelings towards this particular movie?

ok..... here's the deal... i dont make put down your movie and you dont put down mine.... k? 8)

besides.... somebody's gotta stand up for our movies  ..... i mean come on.... you gotta admit that our faves are not the no.1 popular movies on the forum...! so if we dont protect them.... no one will!

Hooray for us! :D :D :thumb:

ok.... im getting a little bit off topic here, so i think ill quit while im ahead (or not so ahead any more).

now to answer your question lady.... I (quite obviously) own the special edition, and it is totally awsome!!!! it gives like a whole extra level to the movie! a must! (but remember....thats from me! a kuzcomaniac!)

:P

Hey, glad I could help.
The point is you DON'T have to pay nearly $40 for that 2-Disc Set (if that's they way you decide to go).

EMPEROR's NEW GROOVE CE DVD problem

Post by Ciaobelli »

Well its not really a problem, but more of an observation. In the insert, there is a long essay from Shumacher. my problem with it is that it sounds like he is apologizing for making a 2d retro style movie. Anyone else get that feeling. Why should he apologize for a movie with awsome animation?

No it didn't. The Emperor's New Groove: The Ultimate Groove Edition came out prior to the slipcases. I hope they rerelease it with one though. Even if it did, and you bought it without one, you could always call Disney and they would be more than willing to send you one
Cheers!

Sorry to be off-topic but can I ask where you got Doe's Disney Cuties pictures? The Doe website is on hiatus and I wanted some pictures. I can wait for the clothes to come out in the summer!

I also wanted to know if there is anything super special about the CE New Groove DVD?? I have the regular and I wanted to know if I should upgrade...

Two places you should look for slipcover questions:

Jake's terrific thread:
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... php?t=2366

And all our reviews always mention packaging in the DVD Details section. If there was a slipcover it'd say so. We actually have whole paragraphs devoted to packaging lately!

Black double Alpha keepcase actually, white was for the single disc release (at least that's how it was up here in Canada)
