However, I was simply pointing out that all of that information is available elsewhere, and there are about a million different threads pertaining to the contents of the Treasures and who belongs to what short. First, you didn't understand my question: and you should before flaming someone. I HAVE ...

Thanks, JimmyJack and Stash. I think until the shorts actually come out (so we can see for sure), I'll put what you guys recommend. I'm looking for definitive answers. Among the sources, there seems to be some shorts that are credited differently. Maltin was incorrect on some, so I can't trust him c...

"Whose" animated shorts are these...?
I'm making a list of all the animated Disney shorts. Part of the list is whose cartoon it is: a Mickey Mouse, a Donald Duck, a Pluto. I do NOT mean who is the main character, but rather whose name is on the title cards. [For example, the 1936 short "Donald and Pluto" doesn't feature Mickey...

List of Easter Eggs
I went on a number of sites to compile easter eggs for Disney and some other DVDs (I do not take credit for finding any of these myself). I haven't tried a few of these, so please don't blame me if they are incorrect. Please leave a response if one of them doesn't seem to work. This isn't a complete...

Same?
Yeah, I was wondering about that. From what I read, it uses the episodes, but edits them together. I'm afraid that there will be some deletions. Have any idea how the movies will compare to the TV shows? And will the upcoming release have all the bonus features?

Somehow found a code
After surfing around, I found a way to change the requirement to 5 movies in 12 months instead of 6 in 12 months. That's a bit better, so I went ahead and joined. I'm a little PO'd though. The agreement says something like "you must buy 5 movies at regular club price ($19.95 for DVDs...)."...

New codes?
I'm thinking of joining, but am waiting for a special deal to come along. Buying 6 at slightly inflated prices in the next 12 months is not very enticing. Anyone have a new code?

Need Davy Crockett with or without tin
Does anyone have a copy of Disney Treasures Davy Crockett? I would prefer the one without tin to save money.

I need the Davy Crockett one. If you bought the set, how much would you be willing to sell that one to me?

Insert
I called Disney and was pleasantly suprised. After hitting a few buttons in the menu, I pressed "0" to get a customer service person. Expecting to wait for 20 minutes, I was shocked when someone answered after one ring! She was very nice and said she would send me the insert, but would hav...

Thanks, everyone. And thank you Jake for the info. I'll give them a call. I'm not really obsessed with having it, but if I can get it for a buck or two, I'd be stoked.

Again, you guys come through for me. I bet he either lost it or bought it from someone else who lost it. What gets me is that he is "positive" it didn't come with one and he claims that his friend's copy didn't come with one either. What a jerk. I guess that's my come uppance for being che...

Quick Question on Beauty and the Beast package
I need someone's quick help. I just bought a copy of Beauty and the Beast Platinum edition on ebay. It arrived without an insert booklet. The guy claims it doesn't come with one. I have other Platinum and Special Editions and they each have a beautiful foldout booklet, so I can't believe him. Can so...

Unedited release of 40s package features? (Saludos, etc)
What is the conventional wisdom (guesses) on whether or not Disney will re-release the series of anthologies/package films from the 40s (Saludos Amigos, Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Melody Time, Fun and Fancy Free) without the politically correct edits? I'd like to get these films, but not in ...

Thanks to everyone who replied--it is a great help.
While the tin would be cool (to match my other ones), I never plan to sell them; so I'm not worried about the resale value. In fact, I kind of agree with deathie mouse that they look cool enough without the tins.

Non-tin Disney Treasures?
I bought the Complete Goofy Disney Treasure for a pretty good price because it didn't come with the tin box. The guy told me that it was an official Disney release without the tin. (I didn't really care about the tin--I just want the DVDs.) I don't think it is a bootleg or import. The case, box art,...
