Re: Which Black Sheep among the Disney Canon is your favorite?
So i assume you mainly included the movies that mostly bombed critically not commercially, as most of their "flops" rightfully became beloved sleeper hits! :) Exactly ;) As for those of you who`ve mentioned Treasure Planet , I didn`t include it on this list due to how it was well critical...

Re: Which Black Sheep among the Disney Canon is your favorite?
I`m glad to see more love for Meeko here! Meeko is one of my favorite sidekicks, too! And most American reviewers have usually panned the sidekicks for Pocahontas.

Re: Frozen IV
Well, to divide the last sequels in two parts reminds me very much of the dividing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and even Wicked. But let`s hope that they`ll have a compelling story to tell in two movies.

Which Black Sheep among the Disney Canon is your favorite?
I know that this topic may be a little derivative. But I`ve been curious about this topic lately. As we all know, Disney had some Black Sheeps among their lifetimes. And some have been more universally loathed than others. But regarding of these Black Sheep is your favorite and why? And yes, I`ll li...

Re: Zootopia 2
I'm hoping this has strong returns. It might help build enough momentum to audiences back in the habit of seeing Disney movies for Thanksgiving again, which would give HEXED a boost next year. Well, it would`ve been nice if that was the case. As audiences have simply turned away from original anima...

Re: Untitled WDAS Film (2028)
Well, perhaps audiences could`ve accepted a different style if it was done right. The style of Wish didn`t look right at all. The characters looked like paper cardboards against unfinished backgrounds. But I`m curious what this movie is going to be about. Since it`s confirmed to not be a human story...

Re: Wicked: The Musical: The Movie
I saw the movie last night. And while I overall liked it, I agree with those who thought the sequel was inferior to it`s predecessor. However, it was still a good movie for the same reasons as the first movie: The visuals, the music and the overall atmosphere and fantasy vibe. The opening was a litt...

Re: Toy Story 5
I know that I`m a little late, but my impression of the teaser was that it was a good one. I liked the build-up to the tablet. But it was unfortunately too short. The part of Mr. Potato Head taking off the eyes of his wife was clever, though.

Re: Moana (Live-Action)
To be honest, the teaser was a mixed bag for me. Despite how it was truly short, I liked the visuals, the setting and how they managed to capture the atmosphere and tone from the animated predecessor. However, the actress who plays Moana essentially comes across as rather bland and lacks charisma (s...

Re: Disney Princesses Got a Makeover
I don't think Pocahontas will go. She's one of the most popular non-White characters they have, so... While I don`t disagree with you that Pocahontas is a popular character in her own right, the truth is that she`s always been the least promoted Princess in the lineup. She`s always been featured co...

I also think that part of the problem was the choice to jettison all music before "Part of Your World." Like, "Daughters of Triton" is no one's favorite song, but I think we needed the musical build-up. Agreed. It was an intentional and deliberate choice, as the team wanted to b...

Re: Disney Princesses Got a Makeover
Okay. Why? I like magic and the film was a lot about that, and I liked some of the songs, and I liked the animation style. Well, all in all I liked Wish . I liked the songs and score, the character designs and the voice acting. However, the movie was not without it`s flaws: The comedy was awful, th...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)
I rewatched this movie again and I think it's just okay, it's a bit boring in the beginning because it's the same as the animated movie but more padded and the pacing is slow. The actors are decent, I still don't like how McCarthy plays Ursula, but she's not bad. The only terrible performance is fr...

 Oh my God. Mexico? Really? And no, don`t get me wrong, cause I have nothing against Mexico or it`s culture. But to set the story in Mexico? After how cheap and fanficky Maleficent was, I was hoping for a live action treatment of Sleeping Beauty that was superior and could redeem it. But o...

Re: Disney Princesses Got a Makeover
Why haven't they included Asha yet? I know she's not a princess but that didn't stop them before. Maybe because her movie flopped? Then again, so did Raya's and they included her . Well, I don`t want to sound condescending. But at least Raya was (somewhat) a Princess, for being a daughter of a Chie...

That was a cool cover! Despite how it`s a revamped version of all the previous promotional stills, it was still a very striking-looking cover.

Re: Moana
You know, since originally the concept of Moana was based on Mighty-Maui, it would`ve been definitively interesting to see it if it was centered on him alone. It would`ve been interesting if it would be a musical and executed in the formula that Disney are known for. Or if it would`ve been executed ...
