Re: Hexed

The exclusive first look opens on Billie arriving in the hidden realm in a wooden, glowing corridor. At the end is a table with a book, a feather quill, and a jar of ink. To her surprise, these objects are alive, with the book and quill asking Billie a series of questions that ultimately lead to he...

Re: Hexed

To be honest, I’m disappointed they changed the concept from a mother-son adventure to a mother-daughter one. Like, come on, Disney. I know some of your most successful movies had female leads, but mix it up a little. :( Also, I personally preferred the previous title logo. That one at least looked...

Re: Hexed

A number of films have given their young male protagonists mother characters, but there are few instances of mother and son going on any kind of adventure together. Fair enough. As for the logo, I do actually like it and find it superior to the previous logo. Despite how it`s not a great logo, eith...

Re: Hexed

I agree that mother-son pairings are regrettably rare in film, and so I'l miss the opportunity this could have been, but I suppose this is also the rare opportunity where changing the film to make it more palatable makes it more open to marginalized groups. Trying to step out of Elio's shadow makes...

Re: Hexed

Wow, this was heavily retooled in such a short amount of time. They changed the sex of the lead and aged them up. They changed the look of the mom too who was originally going to be blonde. The tone of the film seems to have changed as well. It looks more comedic than before. The whole thing resemb...

Re: Cinderella Discussion

Hey Duster, is this the one you meant? The one that had bad illustrations? https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/de/ce/6rZIwiVJ_t.jpg This cover reminds of an official book for the film that I had as a child. It had bad illustrations too but I loved it so much!! I still have it somewhere. 😂💖 I had that book a...

Re: Disney Princesses Got a Makeover

Well, I liked the style of the atwork. Perhaps it`s not as exquisite as it could`ve been, but still nice-looking enough. And it`s nice to see Pocahontas, who`s usually neglected, at the front of the cover.

Re: Moana (Live-Action)

To give my overall impression about the trailer, it was a fine enough trailer. It captured the tone and feel of it`s animated predecessor. Catherine Laga'aia is cute enough as Moana, despite how she looks fairly younger than her animated counterpart. My favorite parts were with the Ocean bending to ...

Re: Hoppers

I think Mabel and George should have had a new thing of their own instead of him taking her Grandma's place in her old routine. He even did the tapping motion for Mabel to sit at the usual spot that her Grandma used to do. That felt like Mabel had replaced her Grandma with a beaver. :what: It would...

Re: Hoppers

I felt the designs looked way too cheap at first. Similarly to The Mediocre Dinosaur film, but at least they made the smart move to adapt the appearances of the animals between the two worlds, (the black dead eyes). Are you talking about The Good Dinosaur ? In many ways this film reminded me of a l...
