Out of the films made in the 60s, 101 Dalmatians was easily my favorite. It had one of the best Disney Villains, likable characters, a beginning, middle and end, and wonderful animation. I felt The Jungle Book and Sword in the Stone suffered from the same problem: Little to no plot. In SitS, the vil...

Funniest: Aladdin - Mostly because of the Genie but the works so well in the film. Scariest: Pinocchio - For the Dark Atmosphere and the situations the characters find themselves in. I don't think any scene in particular is scary. Saddest: Bambi - Despite me hating the movie, Bambi's mother dying wa...

Re: Just revisited it

:o I just finished revisiting this classic film today for the first time in years and it really made me think. When I heard this was coming out again I was unusually excited about it. Of all the Disney films Pinnochio is one of the ones that never captured me as a child. I dont know why but it was ...

Pinocchio has to be my first or second favorite Disney film, after Aladdin. The story is very long, but rich and fulfilling. The characters are greatly animated, and amazingly voiced. Stromboli and the Coachman's smile scared me to death as a child.

And a fox and a cat as con men - imagine!

On all of my DVD's, the dot is a sticker. I only have newer DVDs, so this could be the issue.

My favorite character on your list is Ariel, but out of all female Disney characters it would have to be Jasmine.

Does anyone here have the Aladdin Platinum Edition Slipcover? I'm willing to pay for the slipcover + shipping, if anyone's interested.

I voted for Snow White, as I believe it's the best made Disney film.

The Music is the best, it's animation and Sleeping Beauty's animation is tied, and it's characters are tied with Cinderella. I also really like the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, as it feels nostalgic to me.

I would guess that Snow White would be the fall 2009 PE release because it would bring in more money than Fantasia at that point would. Also that leaves open the summer for a Special Edition re-release of Fantasia 2000, it seems to me that Disney likes to release a Animated Classic over the summer ...

Escapay is 100% right. Disney will chuck your script out unless you go through the proper channels. Anyhow, good luck with "Rapunzel", or as I like to call it, "Rapunzel and the Jerks", since every other character in the story comes off as a real jag-off. Rumpelstiltskin, not Ra...

My Disney Draft

I am currently in the process of making a story board draft for the story of Rumpelstiltskin, and am hoping to send it to Disney to ask for their opinion of it. I currently have summarized half of it in text, so if anyone wants to read or critique it, please do. I will try to scan some of my concept...

I'd be content with a one disc Special Edition, it's just I'm holding back buying the Gold Collection DVD because I want a slip covered restored version.

The Rescuers: Special Edition?

I would like to know if anyone knows of any plans for Disney to release a Special Edition version of The Rescuers. I know there is a Sword in the Stone Special Edition being released this Summer, so why that then a superior film?
