Pinocchio (restored) and So Dear to My Heart already in R1..

Hello, Last summer I posted about the availability of Pinocchio (restored print) and So Dear to My Heart in Region 1 (playable in US machines). Unfortunately, the webmaster found it necessary to move my post to the International DVD forum therefore many of you never hear of this. I posted it here an...

It's available in Mexico? Could you please tell me exactly what the audio options are? Is there an English 5.1 soundtrack that is not the "Enchanced" mix? THanks in advance!

Hello,
I don't have a region-free player. Does anyone know if this was released in Mexico? When I was there last summer, I picked up the restored Pinocchio and So Dear to my heart. Both look and sound AMAZING, and they are Region 1 & 4 so I can play it here!!!

I didn't mean to discourage anyone from buying this DVD. By all means RUN to get yourself a copy. You will never find a more perfect Disney movie. I love the film and it's soundtrack. I'm just disappointed that Disney has such a hard time making everything perfect all the time. They always manage to...

Bad DVD transfers

I think the worst DVD transfer so far is The Rescuers. It's not my favorite movie, but the DVD looks AWFUL. Of course I agree that Poppins is bad on DVD but at least they have a chance to fix it soon. Also, some of the Limited Edition DVDs had bad transfers, but they were done in the early days of D...

Mulan DVD picture quality

After reading some negative reviews of the picture quality on the new Mulan DVD (including the review on this website), I was expecting the worst. Thaksfully, I found the picture image PERFECT with the exception of the ocational color banding described. This problem was not that bad at all. The pict...

Question about Sing-Along DVDs instrumental audio....

Hello, I have never seen any Sing-Alongs on DVD. I'm familiar with most of the old video versions though. I have a question... On hte publicity material and on the DVDs, it says that you have the option to watch the songs in "Karaoke." In other words, there is an alternate audio that featu...

Pinocchio SE, So Dear to my Heart, Ducktales, more NEWS here

Hello friends! I just returned from a trip to Mexico. While there, I looked for Disney DVDs and CDs. I found some interesting information. Disney DVDs there are for both regions 1 and 4 which means they play here in the US. Their DVDs are the same as their american counterparts: 5.1 English, anamorp...

Alice in Wonderland Restoration

I think the new edition is far superior to the old one. You might be used to the old video or TV version, but if you went to the Theater back in the 50's, it wasn't as dark as the old edition was. What they mean by "I rather watch the whole picture" is that all the older releases of the fi...
