There is already a thread that exists for the discussion of the Disney Movie Rewards program. Next time just use the search button to see if there is already an existing thread for what you want to talk about. As for the issue at hand, I have to agree with you that requiring a proof of purchase is ...

Disney Movie Rewards: UPC Tabs needed for replacement code?
This is absolutely absurd. I am supposed to butcher and ruin my new $35 copy of a Blu-ray film, because of a manufacturing default on their part. So much hassle for a replacement code, I think only the receipt should be required. The Proof of Purchase tabs ruin the artwork, I never cut them even for...

Free Donald Duck Binder ($20 Value) Offer!
http://disney.videos.go.com/General/Site/MerchandiseDetail?Item=28522&page=Merchandise Add it to your cart and it shows up as $0.00. Is this a promotion? I know a few that ordered and this was posted on DVDTalk. What's weird is that you can just order the free binder without anything else. I pla...

I just made VIP status, and the mandatory double feature is a total slap in the face to the members. I wanted Ratatouille ( I held off buying this in the store for a club purchase), but not the Pixar shorts which was required. The only way you could purchase it by itself was by calling and speaking...

DMC going Downhill!
John Fylnn, I hope you're reading this... After being a loyal and long-term DMC VIP, I have noticed a negative downward trend of changes at the club. First I HATE these new mandatory double featured titles, they are becoming more and more common. The Fox and the Hound 1/2 double feature was very ann...

Which makes it look like either you're willing to parrot someone else's talking points without doing homework, or you're willing to disseminate false information knowingly. Either way, I don't see much point in debating under those circumstances. I just want other readers to know they might want to...

Okay, I'll bite. Helvetian, your posts contain much information that is misleading, misstated, or simply incorrect. Anyone who might actually be concerned by the content of your contributions need only consider the following: BD has more studio support, more player support, more players sold, and m...

this is an article i found Bay is a Sony person, most of his works are wth Blu-ray studios so his loyalties naturally lie there. He is not saying anything new, last month at a Blu-ray shindig in LA, the same rhetoric was spewed about Microsoft and they responded. Bay is just always a day late and a...

First and foremost, Blu-ray has constantly been outselling HD DVD 2-to-1 (it'd make no sense for Disney to purposely lose money.) Already addressed above, you’re not adding anything to the discussion. Secondly, the 3 layer HD DVD to my knowledge is still in its prototype stage Nope the final spec w...

Re: Disney supports 3 layer HD DVD format
First of all, everyone needs to understand a few key points about HD DVD: It is the only approved format out of the DVD Forum, as the true successor format to DVD. HD DVD is a finalized spec, it includes and requires mandatory elements like a second video decoder and audio decoder, for things like P...

Disney Movie Rewards Codes Missing!
Fox and the Hound and Fox 2 were missing code inserts. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm just annoyed because of the inconvenience with faxing documentation in to prove it to the Rewards team for the points.
