I got my confirmation on a Thursday, my poster arrived the next Tuesday.Barbossa wrote:I finally redeemed points for Ducktales The Movie. It says it will take 6 to 8 weeks to ship, however I read on this thread that some of the members got there stuff sooner. It could be that it's getting shipped to Canada. Have any Canadian members got their stuff sooner?
Can't wait to watch Ducktales. The last time I saw it was when it had its theatrical release.
I hope that they get a better model of Blu-Ray player when they restock...I'm at 7875 points, and I'm waiting for some movie tickets to go through...as far as a TV, I'd want a bigger one with an extended warranty, so Best Buy is a better bet =D
EDIT: AWESOME! All of my "Missing Code" submissions came through! I now have 11500 points =D
For those of you who were wondering, you can send in requests for movies that are not listed in the "List of Eligible Movies" but ARE in the dropdown menus on the "Missing Codes" page. One example is Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition. It's not on the "list", but you can print a form out for it, and you can get points for it (if you purchased it after May 18, 2008).

Ducktales, The Movie is out of stock again. You'd think they'd get a ton of them in. It has to be the most popular Reward that people redeem points for. It doesn't matter to me as I got a copy from the Disney Movie Club but they keep running out of them & really shouldn't.

It wouldn't suprise me if Disney takes notice of this and just in time for the holiday season they release this movie to the public w/some new extras and whatnot, perhaps tie it in w/the final season release of Ducktales this fall.
I find you pompous, judgemental, and completely self-absorbed.........would you be my friend?

fyi the blu ray player & 23" lcd hdtv are back in stock!!!
NO they're not. When you go to the further details page it still says out of stock. Sorry for the false alarm. I'm not going for either but I know a lot of people are and it sure looked like they had got them back in.

Interesting. I was lucky enough to get it then. I'm still waiting for it to arrive in the mail though.PixarFan2006 wrote:Ducktales the Movie is no longer available as a reward.
There's now a National Treasure 2 sweepstakes on the site that you can enter once daily. I tried and I didn't win

Disney Movie Rewards: UPC Tabs needed for replacement code?
This is absolutely absurd. I am supposed to butcher and ruin my new $35 copy of a Blu-ray film, because of a manufacturing default on their part. So much hassle for a replacement code, I think only the receipt should be required. The Proof of Purchase tabs ruin the artwork, I never cut them even for rebates. Really annoyed with Disney with this new policy. I guess I'll have to keep exchanging this over and over, which subsequently hurts Disney due to potential high return rate issues, until I get one with a code. They should offer exceptions or a courtesy "first time" goodwill redemption process.
There is already a thread that exists for the discussion of the Disney Movie Rewards program. Next time just use the search button to see if there is already an existing thread for what you want to talk about.
As for the issue at hand, I have to agree with you that requiring a proof of purchase is absurd. I wouldn't want to cut up my DVD art either.

Please Simba3, that is a generic thread that is very general whereas this is specific to an issue about DMR. Anyway I'm glad you agree, because it is ridiculous. Are people discussing this issue on that thread? I looked and didn't see, but am unable to read every reply on every page so unsure.Simba3 wrote:There is already a thread that exists for the discussion of the Disney Movie Rewards program. Well, the name of the thread is "Thoughts on Disney Movie Rewards", and the thread you just created is about sharing your thoughts about a particular issue regarding the Disney Movie Rewards program. It seems like a pretty fitting location to me.Helvetian wrote: Please Simba3, that is a generic thread that is very general whereas this is specific to an issue about DMR.
No, perhaps no one is talking about it at your particular issue at the moment, but the thread exists to discuss matters that deal with the Disney Movie Rewards program. There is no reason you can't switch the conversation to the issue you are concerned with. The topic shifts rather quickly in there based on whatever anyone wants to discuss.Helvetian wrote: Are people discussing this issue on that thread? So I opened up my Ducktales DVD, and it wouldn't play on either my laptop or my DVD player.Barbossa wrote:My Ducktales: The Movie DVD finally arrived today!![]()

Kind of a pointless post, but felt I had to brag...

Anybody else have problems like this?
