I've written for several Disney television shows, many of which were at the Disney Studio in Burbank. Even though I'm very often less than pleased with the Disney management, it's still an incredible thrill to walk onto that lot which I used to see all the time on The Wonderful World of Disney.

Some of the jokes on TSL are actually pretty funny and are unlike a lot of things I've seen/heard on other sitcoms. I actually think TSL is funnier than TSR, HM, and PotF. Having written "some of the jokes on TSL", I thank you. Also, I like how it isn't very cliche when it comes to stereo...

Yeah they're going to do a spin-off about Arwin aren't they? Didn't Disney pick that one up? Personally, I think that it'll suck, but who knows it could be the next Frasier. Not many people like that character anyway, so it'll probably be a critical and commercial flop. But again, who knows. -James...

Re: will TSL have a 3rd Season?

Huh? Why 13 episodes or 22? There are 2 seasons until now, the first with 26, the second with 39 episodes.... I can't answer that question. I'm very often at a loss when it comes to explaining the actions of The Disney Channel executives. But I was told by the shows writers and a couple of the exec...

Re: will TSL have a 3rd Season?

Hello just saw on tv.com that TSL is supposed to have 65 episodes until now with 39 (!) on the 2nd (i would prefer 2 seasons with that lot of episodes) Disney had a episode limit of exactly 65 episodes, then, TSR came with 100 episodes (TSR ist't continued, is it?), so this limit shouldn't be exist...

Continued on Sunday with Fun and Fancy Free. Probably my second favourite package feature. A starring vehicle for Mickey, Donald and Goofy, and a delightful segment featuring Bongo the Bear. I'm surprised Bongo and Lulu Belle didn't become bigger stars actually. It would have been nice if they'd ca...

Whoever thought up the ending must've been a major perv. Instead of Mowgli thinking with his johnson, I have a much better ending: There's some boys playing catch outside the man village, the ball rolls away, the boys encorage Mowgli to bring it back, and THAT'S how he gets to the man village. Wron...

If you want to simplify and save space why not get a couple of those DVD binders that hold 48 discs in individual sleeves and put all the DVDs in there. Either throw away the cases or box them up and put them in the garage or attic crawlspace. That will take up very little space but still allow you ...

I think it's a great idea, but I don't see it happening. Personally, I think they should make a Vault Disney channel. They used to show Vault Disney late at night with shows like The Mickey Mouse Club and other classic Disney programs. Oh, how I miss those days. In a meeting with Disney Channel exe...

According to John Grant (with a little help from me and Anders M Olsson), the Chip 'n Dale shorts and where they're available are: Private Pluto -- Walt Disney on the Front Lines Squatter's Rights -- Complete Pluto Chip an' Dale -- Starring Chip and Dale Three For Breakfast -- Starring Chip and Dale...

Thanks for the link to the WB checklist. I've seen that one before. The kind of checklist I was talking about (like the one Anders provided for the Disney shorts) not only lists the shorts themselves, but also includes what dvds those shorts are on.

I thought that cutting and pasting the chart would cause me to lose all the formatting. But it didn't. I was able to keep the grid in tact. I spent many hours yesterday removing the non-USA releases and then checking off the cartoons I had. With the Walt Disney Treasures line, collectors will soon h...

Anders,

That is a great resource. It's almost exactly what I was looking for. Is there a downloadable version available that I can print out and use as a check list? I'd love to be able to remove the non-USA dvd titles from the list to make it more managable for my use.

I'm looking forward to the checklist of animated shorts. A while back, I copied a list of the animated shorts from a book I had. Unfortunately, it wasn't formatted to be a checklist so there wasn't a lot of room to make notations of where I had the cartoon. This was before so many great DVDs had com...

My guess about this (and it's only speculation on my part), is as follows. When Walt Disney died some comedian made a joke that now he's in "suspended animation " because he was dead and he was an animator. People passed that joke around knowing it was just a joke but some people who heard...

The animated features check list is just what I was looking for. I can't wait for the animated shorts checklist to be done.

Checklists

Does anyone know of any good, printable checklists of Disney animation? I'd like to find a checklist that lists all the animated features and includes the various versions of the film that have been released (standard DVD, Deluxe DVD, Laser Disc, VHS, etc.). I'd also love a check list of the animate...
