I think JK has his pros and cons, but it would not have worked with Eisner. The two would likely have clashed and by 96-97 it would have been over.if it had worked, Shrek would have been made but likely without the Disney references and potentially independantly, Dreamworks would not have been found...

That teaser reminded me how much they as a company and we as an audience are going to continue missing Joe Ranft. He was a lot of the heart of these films. I wonder if he did any voice work on Ratatouille before he passed.

Thinking Cable or Sat is probably behind the curve by now.

The new thing is on demand or a pure online channel. THAT I could see, although it would be less than desirible if it was only limited rather than recordable. Imagine a huge WD library that you could pick and choose from!

Hooooray for the future!

My thoughts exactly Disneykid. Very disappointing. That makes anothe Disney dvd i will wait for. What a shame, as it is obvious what they are trying to do. Color me suspicious, but does anyone else notice something missing on this release that's usually a staple of Disney DVDs? It's the deleted scen...

I hope the movies comes to the Imax theater near me, surely it will but I tend to have bad luck! Ill be there opening night, this is one of my favorite Disney movies. I too am hoping I get to see it, but I don't believe it will be in IMAX. This will be the Disney Digital 3d system that they used wi...

I agree with you totally Pluto Region1. I think the next time we will see SW on a Disc will be a BlueRay, but not on DVD. We will have Pinocchio on DVD though, since it was added to the PE, but it might be released in BlueRay at the same time and then disappear again for about 7-8 years. Oh yeah, I...

Considering the "next format" in the case of double dipping is a good idea. I tend to not do that, and I doubt I'm going to start anytime soon, ha, but it's a good idea. I would probably stop buying DVDs right now, except that they say Blue Ray runs regular DVDs too, and I have always hea...

Without all the merchandise, they probably would not be re-releasing it. So it is a mixed blessing, but a blessing none the less.
