The irony is, when the Donald Duck Theme became the official tune of all the shorts, circa 1949, its lyrics, meant to be tongue-in-cheek, weren't so for the much part if you compared it to the short playing. Don stopped to start arguments. Don started being RIGHT most of the time. At times, he even...

This all played into Disney's penchant for being eternally distracted by supporting characters, in both the shorts and the movies. As far as shorts go, Jack Hannah proved early on that he was capable of much better storytelling. Under both circumstances, Disney's worst cartoons were often those whe...

Woah. I'm really surprised at the lack of hype for Donald's unfinished short being included in D4. That alone is worth a buy in my book. Also, I think Bee on the Beach does deserve to be on the Vault section. While it doesn't contain anything political incorrect, the ending it's probably the crueles...

Let's talk about unusual Donald Duck shorts!
Ok, here's how it works. When you think of Donald Duck shorts, a formulaic series of ingredients come to mind; 1)Something or Someone provoking Donald (Or the opposite, Donald pulling a prank on a living being) 2)Object/Animal having to reliate. Physical conflict arouses, with Donald getting angrier...

It's time they releases a couple more at least, especially the sequels to the ones already released here. Well, if you were to look at the bad Spanish translation of the article Isidro25 put up, you would notice that two more WDTs are evidently done deals: Pluto 1 and Donald 2. What worries me more...

They did with me. I send them a letter and I got a response two weeks later, saying that the next treasures to be released are TCD vol 2 and TCP vol 1, in 2007. No mention of the Goofy set, but hey, good to know they're still in production 8) PS: The letter is in Spanish...if you want to read it an...

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pete and others are technically black :) Besides any jokes, I agree with the idea of a black princess. But not the Frog Princess, please! They need to find a magical story and make it good enough so you can remember it, then put a black princess on it. Not saying F...

All are considered Donald Duck cartoons - I know they heavily feature Goofy but when the documentors of the shorts talk about the Cartoons, they are classified by the title card. The title card said they were a Donald Duck cartoon for all three of those. In the Chronological Donald Volume 1 they ap...
