But it's too much of a difference even though PAL is faster than NTSC.

well what i've been wondering is who to address the question of distribution to?! the various disney websites don't seem to be geared towards answering people's questions. when i did finally find a site that had anything resembling an email to contact for help i sent them my query about whether the treasures (aside from the 4 currently available) would ever be released over here (New Zealand) and they just told me to go to the australian disney site, (which doesn't seem to have any contact details) or else write to the NZ branch of Roadshow... but it's not like they're gonna know anything!
unfortunately, like i say they don't seem to be open to enquiries over at Disney CorpTM
i want donald volume2, complete goofy and complete pluto i hope the marketing department at disney read this and do something about it, but chances are they won't

They did with me. I send them a letter and I got a response two weeks later, saying that the next treasures to be released are TCD vol 2 and TCP vol 1, in 2007. Gracias por tus comentarios, comparto contigo la idea de que estos Tesoros Disney son una maravilla; desafortunadamente por el costo de armado que tiene cada master (audio en español, subtítulos y demás) el costo de producción se eleva demasiado y al no tener una demanda muy alta en nuestro país nos dificulta la comercialización y distribución de este producto.
Para el próximo año tenemos programado el lanzamiento de dos Tesoros Disney nuevos: La Cronología de Donald Vol. 2 y Pluto Vol.1.
El Tesoros Disney de On The Front Lines jamás será distribuido fuera de los E.U. ya que el contenido es 100% propagandístico y podría afectar la imagen de nuestra marca si no se comprende bien el contexto histórico en el que se realizó ese material. Si eres fan y tienes la oportunidad de comprarlo en E.U. te lo recomiendo, es una joya!
El Tesoro Disney de "Mickey Mouse in Black & White" lo he estado pidiendo a nuestra oficina en Burbank desde hace dos años, pero como E.U. no tiene doblajes en español de todos los cortos que se incluyen en este DVD no se ha desarrollado, pero espero que pronto te pueda dar una respuesta más favorable.

I doubt Pluto 2 or Symphonies 2 are gonna be released internationally until 2010

I hate Disney for not realesing more of the Treasures, there are loads that I want but I only have a region 2 dvd player.
I think they would sell well with the right advertising too, the platinum edition dvds always seem to be top of the sales charts on places like Play so it shows Disney still has a strong following and I'm sure they can just about afford a front page advert to make people more aware of the Treasures.
It's time they releases a couple more at least, especially the sequels to the ones already released here.
