is this based on the Earthsea novels by Ursula le Guin?

if it is, sounds interesting. I started reading Earthsea Quartet, but didn't get very far, and recently saw the live action film that was done a few years back which was horrible.

Anthony Warlow (Pirate King aka Jack Sparrow) did a pretty good impersonation of Sparrow. After a while, i started to subconsciously think it WAS Jack.

Well, it is deffinatly a PREQUAL. No doubt about it, as Tara Strong (who played Melody in TLMII), said on her official myspace that 'Mermaid 3' was a prequal, and Melody WILL NOT be in it. i just recently got told by my cousin that there are posters at Knox in Melbourne, Vic advertising Nightmare in 3D, but she couldn't remember the date. I think it was sometime in the next few months.

Reckon Imax Theatres in Melbourne, Vic will show it there?

I'd get R1 DVDs if I could, but my mum wouldn't see the sense in it (if you can get it in Australia, why get it from overseas?), and she doesn't like me buying things from overseas coz it costs more.
