Disney's "The Black Diamond" releases
I just read the ariticle on Disney's earlier VHS "Classic" or Black Diamond VHS releases and realized how long I've been collecting Disney videos. I do remember back in the '80's this series of releases inspiring me to start collecting Disney videos period. I also guess this is what also m...

NEW TREASURE: Disney's True Life Adventures.
I'm wondering how many of you guys remember and (or) liked Disney's True Life Adventures . I started trying to collect them in the early '90's when they had a cataloge release, they weren't promoted too much and drifted out of site after a while and some were extremely hard to find. For those who ar...

Classic '80's: The Black Hole
This movie is a great homage to Disney's '80's Faze. And no it wasn't the greatest of movies in terms of story development per-say. But for those of us growing up in the '80s I can definaly say it's part of our history being that in the '80's not alot of product flowed from Disney during those times.

Animation Rentals?
After giving it some though I'd like to ask this question. How would you guys feel about someone starting a website in which you could not just buy animated titles but RENT them. Does anyone think there'd be enough traffic to support such a venture? I'm interested in hearing everyone's input. If not...

The Day The Magic Died
My Mother asked me once, what I wanted to do when I grew up...I bluntly and unhesitantly said..."I'm going to work for Walt Disney!" And for there it's was history........ Almost 20 years later the dream and ambition came to it's peak when I was drafted out right out of college into WDFA-F...

The Magical World Of Cheapquals
I'd have to say on one side I agree with most when it comes issues such as Disney Direct To Video, but the QUAILITY of these little gems aren't always up to par and that's my largest argument. (Quality being compared to theatherical releases.) On the OTHER hand, as Disney exposes itself more and mor...

Hi guys, my name is Dan, I'm 32y/o and I just recently joined your DIScussions group and thought that even though this is an older post I'd try and revive some of that magic by telling my "Disney Story." I'm not only a Disney fan but also an employee within the the Disney family. I've myst...

Yeah Phillip I'd have to agree with you on that......funny thing is there's several animated Disney films that aren't exactly on my top ten list...Piglet's Big Movie to say the least even though technically it was theatrically release ECK. ECK ECK. Funny thing though I bought it to kinda keep my col...

Ya Think?
You know it funny though but if you think about it I'd have to say that Special Editions are just another form of a "collection"....I know most of you might disagree but it's all about marketing.....and besides when it comes right down to it, any and all of these titles will be re-released...

The Next Big Collection?
I'm a firm believer in uniformity. One of the things that literally "made" Buena Vista Home Video was the invent of "collections" now we just seem to have "Collectors Editions", which is fine with me, but......once again uniformity here doesn't exsist except within &quo...
