DMC is Being a Pain!

I recently realized that my 24 month agreement is about to expire and so I got on their website to fulfill my agreement. First off, there was no way to remove their current promotion, so I had to order each film individually (so that they would count towards my commitment) and got charged full shipp...

I understand that companies want their money (God forbid you don't buy the trademark stuff from The Disney Store), but at the same time- asking for millions is a little much. I mean, it's not like Disney or any of the other listed companies are hurting or anything.

Those are all great Disney classics, but I wish TCM would get a hold of more rare Disney items like Mosby's Marauders, Ten Who Dared, Escapade in Florence, etc. Hallmark shows the same Disney selections, so obviously Disney is only loaning out their mainstream classics. It's pretty sad though when D...

I was able to get Kidnapped and The Yellowstone Cubs using my rewards- it's been a great experience so far. I've gotten my requests within about 5 days of ordering them!

That is a nice set- but holy cow....who has $70 to blow on a dvd set right now? Not me..... :D I purchased the regular release, I think that will be good enough for me. I'm just glad it's on dvd as a better release.

I've been using Netflix for almost 2 years now, and I'm still enjoying it! I've not had ANY problems with them. I've had a couple of instances where discs have been scratched by other people not taking care of them, and I usually get a replacement disc the next day after reporting it. They have an a...

No, the Brazilian release (compatible with Region 1 players) contains about a half hour of narrated behind the scenes footage which is a true treat and a joy to watch and hear. This archival footage has been replaced with two cartoon shorts on the new Disney Exclusive release. Ahh, okay- well I'm j...

I also grabbed Moon Pilot and So Dear to My Heart, and they too have beautiful transfers. So Dear to My Heart contains (what I believe to be) the same extras found on the 2002 release, which I never bought. If anyone wants more screenshots of Monkey's Uncle I can post more from my dvd. Like you Merl...

Has anyone recieved this yet? I'm curious about the picture quality... Just got it in the mail today (they had sold out of them- it took me 3 weeks to get it!) Here's a screenshot from the dvd: http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/lovetheoldies/MonkeysUncle.jpg There are no extras at all, and yes...

Stanton's main point of Wall-e was not to show people how they are mistreating earth, but Wall-e and Eve's love story. I found the love story between Eve and Wall-E to be very minimal- (besides the non-stop Hello Dolly stuff- that got old quick) when all you could see was a dismal Earth and fatties...

Well I have to say I'm pleased with the 3 new releases. Now if they would just release Sammy the Way Out Seal and Child of Glass, oh and Parent Trap III and Parent Trap: Hawaiian Honeymoon, I'd be REALLLLY happy!

I agree with all of you. I'm very disappointed in the downhill slide Disney has taken with their releases. I am a big fan of the old Disney movies, and loved the days when they were releasing so many on dvd- but there are still so many to be released, like: Sammy the Way-Out Seal So Dear to My Heart...

To each their own! I think you will hear more horror stories about Netflix, because that's the only time anyone will say anything. I know that I've never had a problem with them- as a matter o fact, it's so much nicer than standing in line forever in line to check out, or better yet, be completely i...

I do. It's not a question of being lazy, it's that I lack a good video store (one that's close and has the sometimes semi-obscure stuff I want that I can't find at Blockbuster/Hollywood Video). As such, Netflix is my buddy, as it is for many of my friends at school. I just got "The Prestige&qu...

I do too! There's got to be more than just a couple of us. I think netflix is the best thing since sliced bread. I always receive my discs when they say I will, and when they come from my local distribution center, I get them the next day. I have the 2 disc plan, but I'm thinking of upgrading to the...

I'm gonna have to pick up Happy Feet after it beat out Cars for the Oscar. Of course, the Academy usually gets it wrong anyway, but I have heard the movie is pretty good and since I'm an animation freak it's a must-buy. I watched Cars again last night, and just don't understand why that movie didn'...

I watched it and really enjoyed it! I loved the Star Wars floats, but my favorite was the "Oklahoma Rising" celebrating the Oklahoma Centennial float where the guy flew out of the gift with a jet-pack on and flew above the crowd. I live in Oklahoma, so I guess I'm a little biased.
