this is very bad news considering i've really really enjoyed his involvement on some of the classics dvds like Snow White and Peter Pan. he really appeared to be trying to preserve the Disney legacy along with people like Leonard Maltin. however i've read a Disney biography called "Disney's Wor...

keaton
definitely keaton. kilmer was very forgettable as batman and i'm sorry but the clooney installments were HORRIBLE. i wouldn't say it's totally his fault though he does deserve part of the blame. those movies were just tacky and non-sensical. my favorite was actually batman returns.

actually shatners fairly humble on all the interviews i've seen on the#5 discs. he does complain about not having a big enough budget but he's not afraid to admit mistakes were definitely made in the making of it. he accepts his movie for what it is, when some people could probably so embaressed by ...

i'm not positive on this but i listened to the lines in question and i think the tanglin with big mike fink is correct and the other one, from what i can tell is... Now we got the hang, why we feel our oats we'll stuff their plans down their ornery throats now that doesn't look right but that's what...

no, i get what you're talking about and i agree with you in a way(i think). after thinking about the flow and scene construction, the movie doesn't seem to me to be constructed like a run of the mill movie. it kinda feels more like episodes of a tv show strung together.

i've always loved the flick, especially when i was young. i think the problem isn't necessarily with it's pacing, it's that current movies and shows are paced so fast. a good example of this would be stuff like the powerpuff girls and mighty morphin power rangers, not much story but lots of action g...

i much prefer widescreen as well, i just don't think that this particular movie needs to be presented in widescreen for it to be effective. it's not the kind of movie that relies on grand scope or anything. i do understand your desire to have the movie in the way it was originally presented though. ...

yeah full screen, but i thought the picture and color was pretty good and honestly i don't see much point in having it presented in widescreen, or whatever it's original aspect ratio was. i personally love the dexter reilly movies but the fullscreen presentation doesn't hurt anything.

both treasure of sierra madre and adventures of robin hood are really GREAT dvds and Leonard Maltin hosts a segment much like his work on the treasures. he's got a pretty cool job from the looks of it.

flight of the navigator
i saw flight of the navigator a bunch when i was a kid, always enjoyed it. i just recently saw it again however (on the hallmark channel as a matter of fact) and did not enjoy it at all, not even for nostalgia. it's like a no budget ripoff of ET. i can't tell you how many times i saw that movie as a...

Apple Dumpling Gang/Dexter Reilly Movies
are there any plans to make a special edition of apple dumpling gang rides again? granted it's not as good a movie as the first one but it deserves points on the fact that Don Knotts and Tim Conway were in a much higher percentage of the movie. i thoroughly enjoyed the bonus features on the original...
