Who was your favorite Batman?

Post by Lady »

Batman 1 & 2: Michael Keaton
Batman 3: Val Kilmer
Batman 4: George Clooney
Batman 5 (pre-production): Christian Bale

My favorite Batman was Michael Keaton. He was the only one that really seemed to have that loner inner-demons thing going. plus, he was hot.

Well, it's a tricky question to answer. I really don't like Val Kilmer much, but Batman Forever was by far my favorite Batman movie. George Clooney is a great guy, doing his thing you know, but that movie blew. Christian Bale was really good as a kid but I haven't really wanted to see anything with him in it in the past 9 years or so. I think he'll make a good Batman - we'll see. Michael Keaton was a decent Batman, but the first two movies aren't enough fun - too dark, and not exciting enough.

So to answer your question...I don't know.

You forgot Adam West :P

I think I;d go with Keaton, but ony because the first two are my favorite Batman films because of how dark they were, and because of the Burton influence...

i think Bale will make a good Batman, and I am hoping the new movie sticks closely to the Frank Miller "Year One" story...

I'll go with Batman 1 & 2: Michael Keaton because they were the best Batman movies in the franchise. :D

I 'd have to say Keaton. Simply because the first two Batmans were the best in my eyes. Tim Burton knew what he was doing then and the films had a less cartoony feel to them like the others.

As for Keaton he was the man. He came off as hard core, mysterious and a good guy you didn't want to mess with. Whereas Clooney was a pretty boy only.

definitely keaton. kilmer was very forgettable as batman and i'm sorry but the clooney installments were HORRIBLE. i wouldn't say it's totally his fault though he does deserve part of the blame. those movies were just tacky and non-sensical. my favorite was actually batman returns.

Keaton was by far the best Batman in my mind. The same with the 1st 2 movies, they blow the other ones out of the water! Keaton wasn't the best bruce wayne though... I liked him all the same but I think Clooney did the best as Bruce. IT wasn't Clooney's fault #4 was so bad, it was the writer's and the director because that movie had quite a cast!
