Muppets Chrismas Carol

Hello. Some of you may remember me, but it's been a LONG time (over two years) since I was last on these forums if I remember correctly. But my need for Disney has enticed me back :) Anyway, I'm in HMV today looking for seasonal gifts and I happen to spot a DVD of The Muppets Christmas Carol. I am w...

"The Gospel in Disney: Christian Values in the Early Animated Classics"

That does look interesting. I think it important that we also remember that very few of Disney's films, especially the early ones, are original. They are adaptations of pre-existing stories.

I'm afraid I'm soppy... I tear up with all of them at some point. The exception being The Emporer's New Groove.

Basil - the Great Mouse Detective

I have just finished this film after picking it up in the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal. I wanted to know how others felt about this. I really enjoyed, it's definately going in my rainy-Sunday-afternoon-collection, but I hear it was never very popular.

Your thoughts please. :-)

Another "Beauty and the Beast" one. When the Beast slashes his portrait, he does so from top-left to bottom-right. Later Belle discovers the painting and it's scratched from top-right to bottom-left.

Do they ship to the UK? Game Stop is a store and don't they put their used DVDs online. You have to go to the store and actually pick it up. And not all Game Stops have these OOP Disney titles. I have a Snow White PE to sell in "like new" condition if you're interested...O_o Oh... it's ju...

I haven't read the whole thread, but I have to say that I really enjoyed The Little Mermaid II and am interested to see what III will have to offer. The only sequal I have really disliked is Sleeping Beauty II ... that was just... bad. I didn't even know there was a Sleeping Beauty II or do you mea...

ASDA have the 2-disc edition of Tarzan in stock for !4.98 I *think*. I wasn't looking too closely, but that is the usual price for this sort of thing at ASDA. Picked up a copy of "Sister Act" there today for £4.48. (not entirely unrelated as Touchstone Pictures is a... um... what's the wor...
