Re: Stepsisters (Live-Action)
Either way, it’s from the people who made the chip and Dale reference Rangers movie. and like my best friend has said, the movie feels like it’s written and made by people who don’t understand Disney at all. So unless they change the creative team, whether it’s man or woman, no thank you.

Re: Tangled (Live-Action)
Disappointing. The cinematography for both Wicked and In the Heights was terrible. I hope the costumes are like Cinderella's and not Snow White's. If I may ask, do you think the cinematography is one of the many reasons why wicked sucks? Because one of the many reasons why it does for me is because...

Re: Moana (Live-Action)
If I may ask, what are your guys‘s thoughts compared to the Harry Potter trailer on this? Because I personally find that that looks way more like AI slop than Moana here which actually looks more than perfectly fine, it’s only real issue being that it’s too shot for shot like the original, but aesth...

Re: Hoppers
I did not expect to like this, damn (they got me again) The promoting for this film did not intrigue me in any way. I felt the designs looked way too cheap at first. Similarly to The Mediocre Dinosaur film, but at least they made the smart move to adapt the appearances of the animals between the tw...

Re: Dark Side of Disney
What are some "nightmare fuel" sequences; particularly from the older animated classics that left the biggest impact on you in some form; whether it was your favorite scene, it traumatized you or maybe both? Note, I'm referring to frightening or disturbing moments, not just upsetting in a...

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean 6
The only one I hated was 3. 4 was quite bland though. I loved 1, 2, and 5. At least 5 had a good ending, but it's such a shame 6 isn't happening. I was really looking forward to the character reunion. Can't say I'd have interest in a remake. This is the sixth movie? They are continuing. They’re jus...

Re: Eragon (TV Series)
How do you mean? Because The series was always meant to be told visually. If you watch the DVD special features, the author stated that he always plan on having this series be a movie, but literally did not have the money. For the record, I actually hate these books and know that the author cannot ...

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean 6
Same issue with Barbossa having a daughter. I'm just left wondering ... when? Or more importantly, I guess ... who ? Also, what seance are they using to commune with the damned souls who are asking for this reboot? 'Cause there sure ain't any in this mortal plane. For the record, I am! These movies...

Re: Eragon (TV Series)
As much as I actually love the original movie (apparently the only person on the planet that does!) I actually will give a TV adaptation of Eragon a chance, because long story short, it doesn’t have the issues that Harry, Percy or Narnia would have with this kind of thing

Re: Rank The Frozen Franchise Properties
There's been a lot more Frozen media since the thread's inception. How would you rank each entry now? To refresh your memory, here's every Frozen-related media project (excluding behind-the-scenes featurettes and documentaries). Frozen Once Upon a Time (Season 4) Frozen Fever Sofia the First: The S...

Re: Percy Jackson and the Olympians (TV Series)
Saw the lead actor on Live With Kelly and Mark, he seemed completely overwhelmed. Nice guy anyway. I might eventually watch this in one go one day if they ever finish it. But I only read the book series the one time. Good, but not something I'd return to very often. As I recall, Sea of Monsters was...

Re: Moana (Live-Action)
It’s just too soon. It will likely do well at the box office, I guess, but a live action remake only 10 years out is really bothersome to me. Of course, the reason why we are getting a live action remake so soon is so that way Dwayne here can actually still have the physique to play Maui, and not b...

Re: Aladdin Discussion
I was finally reading Ashmans full original 1988 treatment for his Aladdin and wow. Of course i knew of some overall differences like the "making his mom proud" storyline or that jasmine was a spoiled brat, but it was definetly different than i though! I didn't expect the crush Aladdin ha...

Re: Toy Story 5
Woody's got a complex around feeling forgotten, yes, but the first three movies brought those issues to a much more satisfying resolution. Number 4 had to retcon some things we had known about both Woody and the attitudes of the larger story. Some things that number 4 expects us to buy into in orde...

Not sure if this is legit, but according to Reddit, we may have our or at least some potential people for Rapunzel and Flynn: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tangled/s/ygVd9nFHRf
