What's so great about Hi-Def? I have a Hi-Def TV, and some Hi-Def channels, but I couldn't see a difference in how the picture was. It just looked like regualr TV. Can someone please explain? Cause right now, when Blu-Ray comes out, I'm sticking with DVDs. DVD signals are 480 lines of resolution wh...

Either way guys, this might be a missed oppourtunity for some missed extras, but come on, 27 episodes, in order...that's WAY better than nothing.

rnrlesnar, your going to regret you bought all those once HD-DVD/Blu-Ray hits shelves, or even 2-3 years from now when HD movies are very widely spread and adopted by consumers...trust me, they will be. Blue-Ray will give you THE Lion King AND Beauty and the Beast AND the Little Mermaid AND Aladdin AND LotRs equal (or better in some respects) to the theater. (If transfered correctly, of course ) Okay...My 50" Grand Wega LCD give me better picture than the theater...now throw in Blu-Ray..........

I'll try to answer the backward compability question as I see it, but i don't really follow HD-DVD news anymore (since they started saying it was gonna be just 720 x 1280 pixels. For that, I'd rather buy the thousands of PAL (576 x 720, half of HD-DVD) (including 99% of the Disney) titles available...

I think that HD-DVD or Blu Ray is gonna be like the laserdisc...it's not really gonna take off. EXACTLY!! I think HD-DVD and BluRay discs are going to plummet in sales since almost no one will be willing to go from DVD to HD/Blu, since most have just even gotten DVD!! Not sure what all you guys are...

I can tell you right now that these Disney titles when released in HD/Blu-Ray, which will most likely be a LONG ways away, no, not the next DVD format, but the DISNEY titles in HD will be a long ways away. What, every 10 years right? that's at least around 6 years for the first titles to be re-relea...

I agree with this, however, Mulan will probably be a long way away from HD-DVD/Blu-Ray(hopefully). Live action films are a diff story though, I may hold off on some upcoming ones because of this

Today I watched Tarzan for the very first time and I thought it was a great movie, definately better than I thought it would be. I bet if this was released 10 years ago or so it could fall into the PE releases, however, my 2-Disc CE version is good enough.

What did you guys think of the film?
