For the love of God! CINDERELLA II: SE DVD on the way...(?)
http://www.disneydatabase.com/forums/sh ... .php?t=416
Go ahead - but I'm not gonna buy. I bought the initial DVD release of CINDERELLA II, watch it once, then sold it on eBay. In my eBay description, I even said "WARNING: A HORRIBLE FILM" or something to that affect.
HORRIBLE is being nice. This is the worst film I have ever seen! Not just Disney - of ANYTHING. It's worse than GIGLI! Heck, it's worse than FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY!

Yeah..except we also know that in the case of Disney DTV, "special edition" rarely means it's a special disc; there aren't a lot of extensive bonus materials on these, it just means that the movie itself is being reissued to go with Cinderella. Much as I'm sure that we'd all prefer this particular title to stay vaulted forever, I would have been suprised if Disney DIDN"T give it a re-release, especially considering that it unfortunately sold pretty well the first time out. And with Cinderella III in production, do you honestly expect Disney to not give people another chance to buy the second one, too?

Wow thats crazy I cant believe Cinderella II is getting the SE treatment I agree with PatrickvD how its just not right for it to get it before the many movies that came out before it and deserve it.
Although it bring to my mind the question of why Pocohantas II Journey To A New World didnt get SE treatment when Pocohantas was rerelased? I alos wonder what could make the movie special? Maybe it will have a trailer for the third installment

I speculated this in a post a good time ago.
Well everyone should of expected it looking at all the past Platinums: Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Aladdin. All of their sequels got Special Edition treatment.
I enjoyed Cinderella II. I don't see how it is any worse than Tarzan and Jane, 101 Dalmations II, Lady and the Tramp II, etc.

Not many Direct to DVD films get SE only The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride got it so maybe it's a good thing that Cinderella II did too.
I'm not happy with Cinderella but hey it's wasn't that bad.
