My Favorite Chracters Are Cartman and Butters and Pip

I have two questions
1. I heard that Matt and Trey are going to end the show after the 10th season does anyone kno thats true.. i also thats when there time expired
2. Any news on a sequel to Bugger Longer and Uncut?? I love thefgirst film and I wouldnt mind seeing a sequel with more music.... Matt and Trey said they cant com up w/ a good idea... but there workin on a new movie but they wont tell anyone what it is

I'm just starting to get into South Park again. I was a fan for the first two seasons but I drifted away but now I'm catching it nightly on the Comedy Network.

I can't say what my favourite episodes are but they are all a lot of fun. I now 'respect' this show more. When I used to watch it I thought it was cheap cheap entertainment like Family Guy was for me before it was cancelled.

I can name my favourite character though: Butters. That characteris one of my favourite characters in television animation history... so much so I wish originally he was on The Simpsons. :)

I sort of hope it lasts longer than 10 seasons if they can keep it going. They do seem to come up with episode ideas that are quite different from The Simpsons or the Family Guy and to me it still seems fresh (although I am behind).

I still haven't seen the movie! It's on sale now for $10 so I might end up picking it up soon though and I am getting seasons 1-5 on DVD soon... although ah... nevermind.

I love South Park!!!
My favorite episodes include:
Cartman Land
Awesome-o
I like the episode with the City Wok guy building that wall around the city and he try's to keep the Mongolian's out.
The one where Stan get's a step dad because his parents separate and they try to build a tree house to play truth or dare with the girls. My favorite part of this episode is where Stan's mother forces him to watch that Fat Albot show and he's all cursing out Rudy and every one... priceless.
I have South Park season 1-5, and I have the movie... Like I said, I love South Park.

Sorry to all the fans on this site, but I really think this is one of the most overrated shows of all time!(Along with Roseanne and American Idol) Sorry but crappy animation, unlikable characters and a bunch of poop jokes just don't appeal to me. Yet everyone at my school talks about this show like it's the funniest things on earth. Yet South Park even has their own movie. At least give The Simpsons a movie since that show is actually funny!

It's not all about "poop jokes." They take things from real life and make fun of it. For instance, Michael Jackson, David Blane, Jennifer Lopez, Gorge Lucus and Steven Speilberg, Phil Collins... need I go on. I'm going to tell you what I tell my mother "you have to actually sit down and watch a complete episode, or maybe five". And I would show you the most funniest ones too. Then you might appreciate it and if not, that's alrignt. There are a lot of people who are not "in" to this show.

I remember that the reason they made fun of Phil Collins was because in the 2000 Academy Awards, the South Park movie recieved one nomination for Best Song for "Blame Canada". The song lost to Tarzan's "You'll Be In My Heart" which Phil Collins won the Oscar. I think the reason they made fun of Speilberg and Lucas was because there was a rumor about rereleasing Raiders of the Lost Ark with new scenes or something. I don't remember. I heard about this on a VH1 show which looked at the funniest moments on South Park. In some ways, the show is funny. But I don't recommend everyone to watch this show because it won't appeal to certain people. There have been some episodes for me that I found wrong and inappropriate.

I have seasons 3, 4 and 5 on DVD an i also have the movie... I still have to get seasons 1 an 2

With Thew Show Noone in my school really watches it.... Some kids in my spanish class do and thats really it.

The thing I like about the show is the cheap animation lolol thats wat makes the show funny IMHO.... Lik the other person sed the shows not all about crude humor.. its more about tat stuff in like season 1 but they really just make fun of whats in or political things.

Yeah I agree that only some peopl;e should watch this.

Well, given that a lot of the people in this thread are the very ones who made South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut the first movie voted out of Animated Film Survivor, I don't think there's much point in explaining to you the many reasons I think it's brilliant.

I love Mr. Hanky's Christmas Classics or whatever it's called. . . the music rocks.

The movie is sheer genius. Not only does it spoof musicals, the songs are quite good. And there are so many levels of satire in it.

You're one to call a show overrated, when you love the Simpsons. Heh. If any show's overrated, it's that one. How many seasons is it now? And, personally, I think the show's stupid, not funny. See how opinions differ? :)

Yeah the Simpsons can get overrated. However I can understand why the show is popular though. I will never know why South Park is popular.

 I love that song too.

We all heard of Rudolf and his shinny nose.
And we all heard of Frosty who's made out of snow.
But all of those stories seem kinda... gay,
Because we all know who brightens up our holiday...

I'm Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo,
Seasons greetings to all of you.
Lets sing songs and dance and play,
Now before I melt away.
Poo's a game I like to play,
Stick me in your mouth and try to say,
"Howdy Ho-Ho Yum-Yum-Yum"
Christmas time has come.
It's kinda sad that I can remember that song but meh, it's an awesome song. I love that intro!

I love South Park. It's gotten so random now, and that, I feel, is when a show is funniest. My favorite character is either Kenny or Chef; it alternates from time to time. I con't get any merchandise because my mom hates that show so much and doesn't want to support it.

Yes, The Simpsons is overrated, but that doesn't mean it's not good. Look at Finding Nemo. I'm actually starting to get back into The Simpsons since I watched some of season 2 over the past few days and loved it. Heck, I think Family Guy is underrated and it is arguably the funniest show of them all (I always keep bringing the subject to Family Guy in the threads :P ).

yeah, is a very funny show.
I started to watch it a few months ago(and because there´s notting better on TV)and I found it was quite hillarious.
My favorite is when the butt-face go to South Park because of some Cartman´s joke and the Sam´s episode
