Mine would be the content and that it's OAR. I avoid Full Screen like a disease.

Yes they would but some might not like all the bonus features. That's why I separated them. If you like all the bonus features you can vote for bonus features.

If all they wanted to own was the slipcover, they should just order a free one off Disney customer service instead of buying a movie you're never going to watch. I don't understand Alan for that, but hey, whatever floats his boat.chaychay102royal wrote:But they're just pieces of cardboard! They're meant to preserve the DVD, not to get people to buy the DVD so they could own the slipcover!

I agree. However, there's always the chance that maybe he'll watch it again and see the beauty of Bambi and realize that it's not boring at all, but the attention spans of the modern audiences made him think that it was boring. If he ever comes to this conclusion, isidour and I will be happily waiting with avatars and threads about how wonderful Bambi is.Pasta67 wrote: If all they wanted to own was the slipcover, they should just order a free one off Disney customer service instead of buying a movie you're never going to watch. That's the problem with audiences today. Just because Bambi doesn't have as much excitement as movies today, apparently that makes it boring.

Yeah, I know, but I can dream, can't I? I mean, he bought the DVD. Of what I know, he hasn't thrown it away or turned it into small pieces of metal or anything like that. Maybe on a rainy, weekday afternoon he'll go through his collection and say "Bambi, eh? I remember ChayChay and isidour made such a fuss over this dull thing. Maybe I'll watch it." Then he'll realize the glory of this splendid, underrated film.Isidour wrote:The movie!!!
then why buy the DVD?![]()
But Chaychay, when he realizes that, we will be no more than rotten carcassus
He's not the only person I've had to tell about the beauty of this film. My best friend hates it.

OAR is first, then the video/audio transfer, bonus features (especially ORIGINAL trailers!), and I prefer that it be from a studio with a good reputation. I don't like buying Platinum, Madacy, Delta, Brentwood, Genius, or other 2-bit little companies who don't have the resources to have any film or TV program look better than really bad.

Well does the actual film or TV show count for nothing?
1. Film/ Tv show or whatever it is!
2. The DVD is in OAR
3. Behind The Scenes Feature
4. Bonus Features
5. Outtakes
6. Games
7. Slipcover
If there is a film that I desperately want, I would by it even if it was pan and scan if no widescreen was available. This has never happened yet, I own no Pan and scan DVDs, although "The Gnome Mobile" is tempting me!
