Toy Story 1 and 2 - Special Edition (NO DTS ON UK)

Disney in The Netherlands has announced there will be a Special Edition to both Toy Story 1 and 2 on november 23.

Im guessing we'll get it around this time.
And also Toy Story is coming back on the Disney Channel in a few weeks time and im guessing that has something to do with the new release....since it hasnt been on the Disney Channel for afew years i think.

Toy Story was just on the Disney Channel, just finished watching it.

Damn that's a good movie....

Disney in the Netherlands released a press release with their DVD releases for the rest of the year. It seems that we will only get 1-disc releases of the Special Editions of the Toy Story movies... I'm a bit dissapointed. First Alice in Wonderland and now Toy Story. Lucky we are getting a 2-disc version of Cinderella...

Oh dear. I really hope that this isn't going to be a worldwide issue (seems BVHE International found it fun to rip many bonus features off Miss Alice, huh? :roll:). The Play.com listings show the titles as being the usual 2 disc set prices, so I am praying that BVHE UK will not do this here. I am getting sick of having to import things, you know. :roll:

I'm keeping my old versions of the movies if they miss much from the R1 DVD's.

Well, the people who work at BVHE International are basically all a bunch of frauds. They mislabel things, have poor customer relations and generally give bad releases. Check these out for enough evidence:

I don't own Toy Story on DVD, so I might have to pick these up.
I'll be disappointed, though, if we get a skimpy 1-disc release. That might put me off a purchase...
