Good-Bye (sorta...)

Post by Prince Adam »

Hey, just thought I'd say a sort of "good-bye" or "so long" to all of you. Yeah, school starts tomorrow ( ), and so I will have no time to post, except on those sweet, blessed weekends, and if I don't have too much homework at night.

I won't have too much homework with the first two weeks, but I've got like 42 after that...

That's too bad. Your contributions have always been appreciated. Do try to stop by from time-to-time on weekends...and holidays...and snow days...and vacations....and days with little or no homework. :)

I might also get some free time in the computer lab at school. Can you be logged in to two computers at a time?

Hi Prince Adam,
Thanks for writing some really cool posts. :) Since I'm back at school, I know how you feel. Even I don't have time to post a lot of messages, but I still read them. I'll still the Sleeping Beauty and Finding Nemo DVD articles and reviews even if I can't respond to them.

Sometimes, I'm so busy at school that I can't check this forum and site from school. I try to read the new articles when I get home.

Good luck to those of you heading back to school.

We headed back on August 18th (my wife and I both teach at the same Middle School...the largest Middle School in Indiana) so I've already begun to experience the pain of ultimatedisney.com withdrawal :(

Pretty sure you can be. Just be sure to log out at the lab when you're done.

Definitely! Wouldn't want anyone making fake "Prince Adam" posts. But if they're dumb enough to do such a thing, they may be dumb enough not to be able to find this site (although I do recommend it to all my friends who are Disney fans!)

Isn't it terrible how summer has to end and we all have to get back to school?

Don't get me wrong, I love school, but classes, homework, and certain teachers just get in the way...

I go to a school in the City about a half-hour drive from where I live (one hour bus ride) and so my friends all live farther away, and they're from all over. I only have 1 or 2 friends who live within a half-hour, and so it's really hard to see them during the summer. So I'm really excited about going to see them tomorrow, but I hate having to go back to school and give up my freedom...

I should rename this thread "Pity-Party"

See-ya Adam. I know how you feel - I'm about to go back to school as well (SUCKS). Sometimes, even if subject aren't that hard the dang teachers make them hard. Hopefully I'll still have time to come post here at least once a day throughout the semester.

Well, to all you people going back to school. Go and enjoy it. They really are the happiest days of your life.

And don't think it ever ends - when you go out into the big bad world and get yourselves a 'proper' job, you'll still have to go on training courses, keep meeting new people, get new qualifications, have to give presentations and lectures and train new employees. Only now, eveything is more serious and the results more important than ever.

So enjoy it while you can! :)

I had the same kind of experience in high school, except the commute was over an hour and was a mix of auto, train, and subway. But it's really tough going to school where people come from all over, and with that, I can sympathesize. And it's certainly good side effect of going back to school.

I actually quite like the fall season for my own reasons, but I remember when I was younger, I'd get really sad the last days of August and first week of September. Of course, the first day would always go better than I'd expect/fear, and soon I'd be glad to be back.

Boy, That was a long commute. I dont' think I could have done that. Right now, I am commuting to work which is about an hours drive. Now I am moving and my commute will be about 10 minutes. I will tell you this, I will NOT miss that hour long commute. I smphaize with ya

Well, this is it. One of my last posts in the freedom that is summer vacation. I won't get on at all tomorrow morning, and very unlikely tomorrow night. So, I guess the next time I'll post a lot will be this weekend (if I don't have to work). But I'll keep reading...

Well, farewell to all, going back to school, whether you continue to post or not. I sympathize with you... since I did graduate last May I do not have to return  and man does that feel good! I don't know if I would agree with 2099net and say these are the happiest times, but since they do eventually fall into the past, you may eventually look to them for the comfort the past can usually bring, but try to enjoy these last few years and keep telling yourself, it will be over before you know it.

When I was taking extra nightschool course a couple years back, I had a 2 hour commute, comprised of 3 bus changes...

Now it is time for me to find a job, I'll try not to let this effect my posting

Anyway, I shall look forward to the weekends when all you school going folk are sure to flock to the forum

later 8)
