Fascinating. I never saw that show, but I like the Muppets (even though they are seemingly aimed at children now)and the list of guest stars is great: Lena Horne! Florence Henderson!

This will be a must buy for me. I grew up with it... the repeats that is since the show was done before I was born. When it disappeared I was pretty upset but last year it was on TV again and I loved it even more.

I wasn't going to buy this but now since it's off TV again I will have to!

Now it'd be nice if they got The Muppet Babies on DVD now. Growing up it was definately one of my favourite childhood shows.

As for me- ITS ABOUT TIME! I love me some muppets! I am so glad that Disney has the rights to them again & will be bringing them back for more wonderful movies, media, merchandise, ect.
I'll buy this set the day it comes out.

Does anyone else think the characters look a bit too contemporary on the Season 1 DVDs ?

Hey Pals, can you start a thread that lets us know where you stand on purchasing all DVDs at any given time? Update it several times an hour. :D

I don't know if one thread will cut it. Maybe we could have a "Pals' Current Stance on Upcoming DVDs and Whether or Not He'll Buy Them" forum. Name needs work, though. :D

I don't know if I would say EVERY DVD... Every Disney DVD, maybe... :P
Pals, I was wondering, do you also buy the individual discs for boxsets you own, or are you just listing them in addition to the box set?

Also, do you buy multiple versions of a DVD (like A Bug's Life?)

BTW, glad to see a Tom Selleck fan... 8)

I am glad to hear this information about the Muppet Show, I will definitely pick these up!

I have the box sets but I put the individual discs because it doesn't count as 3. For example Harrison Ford stars in Star Wars but it counts as 1 not 3.
