What of Disney's single disc titles do you own currently?

Post by Wonderlicious »

It seems as though people here are hesitant to buy single disc editions of Disney movies, so I was wondering just how many single disc titles everybody owns.

Personally, I own Robin Hood, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Rescuers, The Great Mouse Detective and Oliver and Company, meaning I have nine single-discers.

Brother Bear (R2) and The Sword in the Stone. Eventually I'll get them all, because they're not likely to see new releases. :)

I have a total of 9, but most of them are DTV sequels like Alladin 2 & 3, Hunchback 2, Mulan 2, Tarzan and Jane, and 101 Dalmatians 2. And the others are Hunchback, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and Lilo & Stitch.

I'm trying not to buy anymore single disc releases bc i'm hoping for 2-disc releases for them all, even though i'm not too sure it will happen, with lesser known films like the Black Cauldron and Saludos Amigos. I really don't want to buy the gold collection copies either bc i don't want some of a collection.

If i could control disney i would release a new collection, similar to the gold collection but much much much better quality soon. I just don't think we should have to settle for mediocre releases of some of our favorite films.

I have Treasure Planet, Return of Jafar, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, and Nightmare Before Christmas Special Edition.

Most of the single discs out there that I want have been announced to get 2-disc treatment later, so that's why I don't have many single discs.

I have only one Disney DVD (this will happily change in October)and it is a single disc of the horrible Mickey, Donald Goofy: The Three Muskateers. My mom bought it so that my nephew could have something to watch besides Christian movies when he came over here.

Most of my Disney dvds are single disc. I have very few 2-disc dvds. I would say I have 50+ single disc Disney dvds. Personally, I could care less if the dvds I buy are 2-disc or single disc versions. I am only interested in the movies themselves, not the bonus features.
