Something confusing here!
On the outside of the Disney Treasure DVD set On the Front Lines there is a mark that state that there is Never Before Seen Footage in the film Victory Through Air Power.
Anyone who have a suggestion of what that can be?
I mean, just because the film has not been shown since WWII it doesn´t mean that it has never before been seen.
Or have they changed the features apperance and added something?
Someone with a foot inside the "house" - please help me out on this!

Perhaps the 'never before seen' refers to:
(a) the fact it as never been issued on a home format
(b) the on set footage (most likely )

Personally, i think the 'never before seen reffers to cut scenes from the feature.
just a question. can movie studios lie about movie reviews (Two Thumbs Up) and video and DVD releases (First time on Video and DVD) because i remember that when the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh came out to video in 1996, an ad said it was the first time on video. but the movie came to video in the 80s. can movie studios actually do this?

They can lie about reviews, there was a big fuss about a made up reviewer offering quotes for Columbia films I seem to remember recently.
Thay can also tell other lies - Disney say Fantasia is complete and unedited - which is not the truth, while no edits have been made as such, sections are zoomed in, repeated or digitally altered. But they can apparently get away with saying unedited
Yeah, DVD re-releases are often referred to as "DVD debuts." Warner did this for The Fugitive and Willy Wonka. Disney probably does it from time to time. I've read info on the John Hughes movies being reissued this Tuesday and they're referred to as DVD debuts (even though it's really only their Universal DVD debuts, and only two of them at that.)
The faked Sony quotes were really recognizably odd-looking. Like on the Animal, "The producers of Big Daddy score another winner!" or something like that. Why would they reference that it's the producers of Big Daddy. Just seemed hinky.
Reviewer quotes are tougher to fake, but they can be taken out of context, and they are.
