Lilo and Stitch Crossover Episodes?

Post by James »

I've read on the website TVTome.com that two episodes of the second season of the popular Disney Channel series, Lilo and Stitch, will crossover between two other popular Disney Channel series. Here's they are-
Episode Spats- The Proud Family
Episode Rufus- Kim Possible
Is there any truth in these, is the Proud Family episode meant to happen when they're on their vacation in the upcoming DCOM, and has anyone seen these eps?
Also, aren't the DCOM movies, Kim Possible Movie- So The Drama and The Proud Family Movie, meant to be the last times we see both cartoons, as they are the shows finales?

That is what I thought as well but I know that Reccess ended a while ago and I heard that there will be a crossover between Lilo and Stitch and Reccess so I'm not sure what to think anymore. And it is true about the two crossovers that you mentioned but I'm not sure about Reccess.

Fist of all, welcome to the forum! :eye: (I can't believe that I haven't said that already!)
And, I just went back on to the Lilo and Stitch episode guide and it does say a Recess Crossover, under the title of 'Lax'. Don't know what it means, but I hope that it helps. And have you actually seen the episodes, because I'm interested in knowing what the animation is like?

Not meaning to throw water on your bonfire, but I wouldn't trust the episode guides at TV tome as far as you could throw them. Don't forget they are submitted by fans, and the amount of stuff on their that isjust pure fiction is astounding! I'm not saying these crossovers won't happen, but I'd find a better source than TV tome to confirm them.

You're probably right, as I've just done a google search and looked at about 3 other episode guides, and 2 out of 3 of them mention nothing about the crossovers (the third one was connected with TVTome).
Alas! It was fun while it lasted, anyway.

I'm sure that these are crossovers real because they have been confirmed by Jess Winfield himself Jess Winfield is the Executive Producer of Lilo and Stitch: The Series and Writer/Executive Producer of Stitch!. Here is a link.

http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/Sh ... id-146257/

It confirms that he is really who he says he is on page 1 and confirms the Reccess and Kim Possible crossovers on page 9. I think that it says something about the proud family somewhere and it definetly says theat there will be 4 crossovers in total. The fourth crossover that has yet to be confirmed might be an American Dragon: Jake Long crossover.

Woah, I'd be interested in seeing the Kim Possible crossover, but I don't understand how they could make such different types of character designs mesh together.

Well they manged with the various Hanna-Barbera crossover shows like Laff-A-Lympics. Fred Flintstone looked nothing like Shaggy for example, or Mumbley like Huckleberry Hound (although both were blue dogs). Hell, Daisy Dalton didn't even share a design sensibility with her "brothers".

I really don't think people mind so much when the "interloper" is an established character. They just like the excitement of seeing the characters interact. That said, like when the Critic appeared on The Simpsons (and was yellow) I expect some minor tinkering to the design.

Oh, I totally get what you're saying, but all the characters you mentioned are the product of limited animation. Lilo & Stitch, while still limited, is more rounded in design and three-dimensionally based than Kim Possible, which has a very flat and linear design. I'm not saying that it's gonna be a problem, I just think that it's going to be interesting to see how they handle it. You know, if they make slight changes in Kim's design as they had to for Jay in the Simpsons I'm really curious as to how she's gonna look. :D

And yeah, it's a lot of fun to see characters from different worlds interact! :thumb:

Again, I don't mean to throw water on the fire, but... Just because some guy has posted in the TV Tome forums that he is Jess Winfield, doesn't mean that he actually is! he could be anybody just saying that. I would really like to see these crossovers, if they are indeed true, but as I said earlier, I would want a more reliable source than TV tome!

I take back what I said about the crossovers not being real! This thread from TVTome, posted by newcomer Mushu, says everything! Replying to Ichabod, please keep in mind that these crossovers are probably in production and probably won't be on many or any other websites that TVTome. Yes TVTome can be unreliable, but I'm sensing that this is for real, as I've read much of the thread and it seems really legitimate.
On the topic of the actual crossovers, I'm looking really forward to all of them, except for the American Dragon:Jake Long one. It ain't really thrilling me just yet.
Thank you soooooo much Mushu for posting this topic from TVTome! I am a frequent visitor to the site, have just registered, and am looking forward to making many new friends and posting constantly, but I never ever knew about this! Thanks for writing about it!

Well. I've read everyone's posts but I'm still a little confused. What exactly is a crossover episode? Has Disney done this before or is it new?

:goofy:
A crossover episode is an episode where two or more shows collide. So what we were talking about is that Lilo and Stitch will have episodes where at least part of the cast of Kim Possible are in it. Another episode will have at least part of the cast of Reccess in it and so on. Some examples of non Disney crossovers are the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour and Rugrats go Wild (Even though it is a movie). Does that clear things up?
