I heard Cinderella III was about Lady Tremaine and time travel. The sci-fi road seems a bit odd for Cinderella, but at least the story sounds interesting. I really do want to see this though.

Mickey in Space? What's this! Sounds exciting! :D

EDIT: LOL we all posted at the same time!

I'm disgusted.
I'll be seeing the new Mickey picture. That's it.

I'm still amazed they haven't sequelized Sleeping Beauty yet. Come on, the original movie is a popular princess movie that is one of Disney's current big franchises, so surely Disney would splash out in an all new movie coming only to video/Disney DVD (which I must admit I hope not :P)?

Still, the idea of Mickey in Space sounds cool.

Hmmm.. a TLM III? I wonder what it will be about...

The Fox and the Hound one is a win-lose situation. It will be a good movie if they do the plot right, but at the same time I don't want them to touch it. *crosses arms over chest*

And... Mickey in Space? It reminds me of the title "Muppets in Space".

Somebody do SOMETHING quick!!!!!!!
I'm not a sequel hater , i'm against the politic of making sequel to a movie because the first one made money, (artistic) NONSENSE. But as long as some fan(atic)s are ready to praise them, they'll keep on doing them... BUY BUY BUY

I try to rent the sequels, because I've liked some and hated others. So I'll probably do that with these, and if I hate them the I'll just go rewatch the originals!

But I didn't even like the original Brother Bear, so I'll probably just leave that one alone.

Who says? Disney is entertainment, and these movies entertain.

If you don't like them, IGNORE THEM.

It's that simple!

I still can express my feelings right? We're not on a dictature board where EVERYBODY should LOVE sequels as far as i know? If you don't like my posts, don't READ THEM! it's that simple!

Disney is entertainment, and these movies entertain
I can tell you there is a difference btwn Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin's Entertainement and The Hunchback2 or MULAN2's entertainment! Not the same range!

The pro-sequel/anti-sequel ethical debate between Jens and KinOO begins! Who will win? Who will lose? Has the facist mind of Disney Hollywood cotaminated the minds of various UDers? What had the past question got to do with this thread? Err...nothing. :P

Rejoyce all sequel lovers! I can't believe Disney has gone this far... And please let's not start with this "Disney is all about busness" story again.
Oh, my gosh, "The Little Mermaid III"?!! The second one was one of the most shameless pieces of promotional junk the company has ever released (and you are talking to one of the original's biggest fans) and they are producing a third one?! Oh, but of course, they need it to make a Trilogy Box Set for when the Platinum Edition is released. I'm surprised there's no "Pocahontas III" to be released alongside the Special Edition.

And what about the sequels to "The Aristocats" and "The Fox and the Hound"?! People barely remember those movies at all!! Well, at least now there are more chances of the originals being released as special editions...

Well, what else can you expect from the company that's producing a sequel to BAMBI. How was it again? "A prince does not woo-hoo"...

Ok so i decided to do a little bit of research and well lets just see out of all 64 classics what Disney has left to make a sequel out of.

Snow White
Pinocchio
Saludos Amigos
The three caballeros
Make Mine music
Fun and fancy free
Melody Time
Ichabod & Mr Toad
Alice In Wonderland
Sleeping Beauty
The Sword In The Stone
Robin Hood
The Black Cauldron
Oliver And Company
Treasure Planet
Home On The Range

Out of 64 classics only 16 of them havent had a squel or are currently in the making of a sequel - i think its gone way to far!! Im not going to sit here and bash sequels as in some cases sequels can be good and are ok such as Aladdin, Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, The Rescuers, Winnie the pooh and Fantasia. But it just seems Disney is trying to dig up every classic it can and make a sequel out of it which is no where near as good as its original. If they made sequels for the odd film like TLK, which had good sequels i think the company would benefit more since people would be interested instead of a sequel for every film.
Sorry i've gone on abit, and i probably havent made much sense but i think you see what im trying to say here yeh? :)

Freaking Scary!!

I didn't realize only 16 movies of Disney didn't had their sequels... 16 lucky guys indeed!
