I'm just watching an episode of the ninja series and I just can't believe how bad it is!

The special effects look horrible! ; now they have as a sensei a guinea pig!!!, (incredibly bad CG). And things got cheesier.

I mean of course this series were always this way but come one, since they debuted in the 90's no one bothered to improve it? To add money to the budget?

What a lazy way to earn money.

The show is called Power Rangers Ninja Storm and that show is already finished. Last year was Power Rangers DinoThunder one of the best series so far. This year Power Rangers took out Power Rangers S.P.D. which is lamer then Ninja Storm.

The only Power Rangers I ever liked was The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. But that was when I was younger.
I never even knew Power Rangers was still around.

same here!
The Might Morphin Power Rangers...or something like that.
Ahh, I remember being addicted to that!
Wasn't RITA the evil villain? or something?
And then the guy who talked to the Rangers was just a liquidy face..
and that robot! Was his name Alpha?

I can't really remember! :p
But this generation of Power Rangers isn't as great as what it used to be.

I HATED that show. As a kid and now as an adult. Gargoyles was out at the same time and was so much better. I always wondered what possessed millions of children to watch that dribble. Not to mention it always seemed racist and sexist to me.

The first girl...wow, look, she's pink! That's because EVERY girl on this Earth says pink is their favorite color!

And guess what!!! The black ranger...he's really black!!! :o

And the yellow ranger...she's Asian!! Say it isn't so!!

Why wasn't the red ranger American Indian?

Wow, I really never thought about it that way. Pretty much when I watch the show I didn't know what racism was so I didn't care. I was like yaaa! Karate and robots!!!

Tommy, the green turned white ranger?

That's another thing I didn't like.
When the rangers changed actors and colors.

Zoltack>I was always a little mature for my age. Being of mixed races, I also got a b-slapped with racisim. So yeah, I see stuff like that.

While when I was addicted to Gargoyles, that was a show totally about prejudice and how bad it is. They embraced it so respectfully without being preachy.

While Power Rangers was just mindless dribble for the masses with so substance at all. It was meant to be fun. I understood that. I just didn't like how they portrayed the races with the color of the uniform. But mostly, it was ungodly annoying. I rather sit through a half hour of Barney

Was Power Rangers that good to begin with?

I remember the original show and even as a six year old, I noticed it was a load of bunk. The Queen Alien that looked like and tried to poorly imitate Malifecant from Sleeping Beauty, the awful clothes and the two silly goons who were friends with the Power Rangers at high school stand out as the stuff of nightmares. I also remember that it influenced loads of kids to try to be super-heroes and jump out of windows, thus resulting in dire consequences. I prayed that this would mean a ban on the TV show, but alas, they still showed it. :(

Sorry if I went a bit of topic there, but I had to get that off my chest.

The only power rangers series I watched was the 1st season or two, when they had the original team, & yeah I did also notice that the black ranger was black, yellow ranger was asian.... I dont think red ranger was native american?? I dont think he was....
I remember green ranger & I used to have a crush on him-haha ahh to be a teenie-bopper again-haha.

Now its like a new team & series every year?

My kid cousin LOVES them anways, his fav is always red ranger-his fav color is red. He is also a huge fan of spiderman & superman too for the red suits.
all he wants for his bday & christmas for the past 3 years is red ranger or spiderman.

I know the red ranger wasn't American Indian. I was just making a point that he might as well be being they colorized all the other races so well.

IMO this title should be called "Oh my God... Power Ranges were always bad". I never was interested in the show when I was little and I'm not interested in it now!

If those kids would have known that the American Power Rangers never even so much as roundhoused those monsters, I wonder if they would have looked up to them so much.

FYI...The show was just originally made in Japan by all Japan actors. Then they American-ized it (with their color-coded rangers), but unless their helmets are actually off, it's always the Japan actors in those spandex kicking rubber monster behind :P

I always hated that progrm.

I mean, who could ever go out with a colorful spandex suit and boots and a motorcycle helmet with an animal drawed on?

well...maybe Michael Jackson...

and what about those figths on rubber or I-don´t-know-what disguise and destroying a little city.
By the way, why if the monsters fall down on a building or street why nobody ever gets hurt? I imagine it
