Do you watch every single bonus feature?

Post by Wonderlicious »

Like most people here, I love bonus features. Yet as wonderful as these little things are, I don't have enough time to watch each and every one of these little goodies. Am I in the minority here in that I don't watch every single bonus features?

Who has that kind of time?

Dont care that much for them actually. I would rather they put the effort into the transfer and sound. The only instance I can think of where I spent more time on the bonus features than the movie was Fellowship of the Rings.

Deleted Scenes and a short making of is usually enough for me.

Usually, yes and not just for the ones I review. I love bonus features and feel like every DVD should have them, even if it's just a vintage trailer. The only thing I don't get to all the time due to length is the audio commentary. I've listened to them on most of my favorites, but there are surely hundreds in my collection that I've not yet heard.

I only watch the bonus features that seem interesting like delted songs, coming attractions, & maybe a game or two.
Sometimes the audio commentaries- but havent seen a commentary as entertaining like brother bears was-that is just as good as watching the movie-those guys are hilarious. \

Sometimes I'll watch the making of sequences, but def dont watch ALL the bonus features..... tho I never watched a bonus feature I didnt like!

Only for certain movies; yes, I do like 2-Discs mainly because 2 is better than 1. ;)

And usually when and if we have time to watch them...

That's exactly the case with me. I check out video features and galleries all the time, but it's harder for me to sit through a commentary track unless it's a film I really love (and even some films I love have dry tracks that I don't revisit, like Star Wars).

I try to make a point in watching every single feature. Most of the time I only watch the features that sound interesting to me.

Well, it depends. I want to watch every single feature on my DVDs, but sometimes I don't have enough of the following:
1. Interest
2. Time
3. Will-power

Although I love bonus features, I don't usually watch all of them. I just don't have enough time, right now I have like 6 DVDs that I haven't even opened because I have been to busy with school.

When I get the chance I usually enjoy watching the bonus features.

bonus material

Post by Joshrzmeup »

I watch some, like the making-of. That's what interests me. I think it's neat to see how it all came together.
I will watch some music videos, but not the newly-made pop group ones. I prefer the classics, like BATB, it's a simple video, not overly-done, but then again, it was made around the same time as the movie. I say, put more classic music videos on it as bonus features and get more people to watc them.

Nope. Well, not always anyway. Only for the movies I really really llike or the ones that I know beforehand as having totally awesome extras will I actually sit there and scroll through every extra feature (and search for easter eggs no less).
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

It depends on how much I like the movie. For my favorites, I watch all the bonus features and then complain there are no more. For rentals though, I rarely watch the bonus features.

Sometimes I have trouble even getting through the main feature though. I *still* have not watched all the Disney Treasures I own b/c some of them are not that interesting to me.
