French Cinderella cover-art?

Post by Wonderlicious »

Found on French board Disney Central Plaza.

I was looking on that board and I noticed this cover art. I believe that this is a re-use of a 90s video cover art, so are they going to reuse it?

Well they reused the old Babmbi VHD cover, so it's certainly a possibility!

They didn't really use the old Bambi VHS cover. That was just because BVHE France wanted to present something to the public to represent the single edition and they don't really care if it's the wrong cover... This is the same. The French cover artists just like to use old cover art to present something.

Well, I don't know if this Cinderella cover will be used or not as the final artwork since the single disc edition of Bambi is the only case where BVHE France has reused an old VHS cover to make it DVD.

But what I know is that artwork of Cinderella is actually the one of the US's Masterpiece Edition VHS but was never used in France as a Cinderella cover.

We'll see ! :) And if it is, the Collector's Edition will dispalyed another artwork. Plus, now, France doesb't have much of its own coverart, it's pretty much similar to the whole Europe.
