What Disney Movies Made You Cry And What Part?

Post by Siren »

For me..

Bambi...obvious what part :P
Hunchback...Esmeralda saving Quasi from the torment in the city
Lilo and Stitch...When Nani was singing to Lilo. That reminded me of my whole real life drama. When that movie came out, I was fighting to keep custody of my daughter, so I really sympathized with Nani. BTW, my daughter has never left my custory :)
Lion King, when Mufasa and Simba are talking about the stars and Simba climbs Pride Rock at the end, but that's only sometimes. Depends on my mood.
Treasure Planet, during "I'm Still Here" and when Jim silently looks for Silver's support and practically collapses at his feet. Again, my own personal drama drove that one. I can watch it fine now :)

It's not consistent(depends on my mood),but here are some scenes that made me cry at least once....

The Lion King....Simba tries to wake up the dead Mufasa,Simba climbs up Pride Rock as king...

Mulan...the scene with Mulan and her father at the end("The greatest gift and honor is having you as a daughter")

Brother Bear...Kenai confesses to Koda

u guys are gonna think I'm such a baby but....

Hunchback- when Quasi was rescued by Esmerelda at FoF & when Quasi saved her & thought she was dead.
Bambi -when his mom dies.
Lion King- When Mufasa Died, & then later when Mufasa came back in clouds to talk to Simba.
Lilo & Stitch- When Stitch leaves Lilo & cries out "I'm Lost!"
Brother Bear- Kenais confession, & when Kenai is turned back to human & talks to Koda & hugs him, -yah, that whole scene & when we see Kodas Mom as a spirit.
Toy Story 2- during "When She Loved Me' & they show Jessies flashback.
B&B Xmas- when Angelique tells Belle she was wrong in the attic & they sing.
When I was wicked young I remember getting teary during Lady & the Tramp when she is in the pound & they show all the sad dogs- that was a LONG time ago when i was just a kid-but it made me cry that one time.

Umm. I think thats all I can think of off the top of my head....
I'm such a baby-i cry at alot of movies.

Like in Armageddon, me & my best friends all bawled like babies during the scene where Bruce Willis decides to stay behind to detinate the bomb manually & says goodbye to his daughter. & the 3 of us were all like "whats this watery substance leaking on my face?"

I cant go see a sad teary movie w/ Shane (fiance) tho, cuz he cracks up when I start to cry at movies. I'll see it w/ a friend who I know will cry too-haha.

When ever Belle and the Beast danced in the ball room, I always start sobbing.

Just kidd'n, I don't think I ever cried at any Disney film even as a kid. Well maybe I don' know. :P

No offense, but why would you be engaged to a man who laughs at you when you cry? That just sounds cruel to me.

It's all in good terms, chaychay. Obviously she stated that in a joking way!

Oh yeah...I just got reminded :)

Brother Bear>When Koda is with his spirit mom

I am sure it wasn't meant in a cruel way. That's what happy couples do, they have harmless teasing. When you can kid around about yourself, they you are truely confident in yourself. And when you can poke fun and be poked back in a loving way, that is even more confident. Not everyone is ultra-sensative. My friends and I tease eachother all the time in play and love. Doesn't mean we are less of friends. It's not like I tease a friend of her weight. I tease her for her accent. And she teases me for mine.

I just thought of one more...

The "Baby Mine" sequence in Dumbo....when he goes to see his mom when she's locked up as a "mad elephant" (for trying to protect Dumbo from children who were teasing him)....it used to always make me cry when I was a child(I haven't seen the movie for many years,so I'm not sure if it still would....

OMG! How could I forget that! Dumbo too lol

Most of the movies I cried in, were just once. Every now and then the end of Lion King or that Lilo and Stitch scene get me, but the others I've seen so many times that it wore off :)

Yeah, that one even makes my dad cry. I can't think of any other ones right now, but that one usually gets me.
Not alot of Disney movies made me cry. A small bunch did, like the older ones, but meh.
Not alot.

That part has always made me sad, but never cry.

I rarely cry at any movies. I don't know why.
