Disney Customer Service: Suggesting Release Toy Story1 and 2

Post by magicalwands »

Has anyone tried suggesting a title on DVD when you call the Disney Customer Service ? It'd be interesting if all of us here were to call and say "Toy Story 1 & 2" and maybe they will release it on DVD again.

I'm sure this idea has popped up before but I mean couldn't we all call them and suggest it and maybe make it more likely for them to release it ?

Or is there a problem that I'm not noticing which will not make this work at all ?

It would be nice if Disney released Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on dvd again. I have a vhs copy of Toy Story. But I missed out in buying Toy Story 2 on dvd. You can suggest all you want but who knows if they'll listen.

Disney would have to be entirely touch with reality to NOT know that people want <i>Toy Story</i> and <i>Toy Story 2</i>. Keeping them out of print for now is ensuring the next time these films are available, sales will be phenomenal. By some accounts, initial sales for the DVD releases were underwhelming, since not as many people had players then (<i>TS2</i> had great VHS sales), and some were probably put-off by the fact that initially they were only available together.

So, feel free to call, but even lots of people calling isn't going to make them change their sales-driven plans, I think.
