What movies shuld have a sequel and movies shuld be made

Post by yankees »

This is a thread where you can say what movies you think need seques an you can post movies that they are working on. Also you can talk about what movies you want to see happen.

ill start off first

South park 2: IMO the first one is hilarious an one of the funniest movies. I wouldnt mind seeing a sequel for this because since the movie ended we meet ne chracters and the show is still funny.

Incredibles 2: well if Brad Bird Returned and the cast i culd see this happening. The movie was great and i bet it could do a spiderman 2 thing.

Simpsons movie: Well IMO the show is not as good as it used to be but i still wanna see a movie of it. I just think it wouldnt do that well

Welcome to the UD forum, yankees!

I also think The Incredibles should have a sequel as well as Monsters Inc (maybe) or Brother Bear (big maybe)

As for a Simpsons movie, I just hope it'll have the same comedy it once had. Now it's just pushing the jokes, but it's still a hilarious show!

Thank you RJKD23 :)
Yea The simpsons has been kind of bad imo since the 11th seasonm so maybe they shuld have made one when it was good around the 8th season.

I could see monster inc having a sequel cause that was my 2nd favorite pixar movie (behind TS1) but i think that movie you really need pixar for it unlike the incredibles whre Brad Bird could work on it again cause he said he wouldnt mind a sequel.

Welcome to the UD yankees :eye:

Hope your enjoying it around here :thumb:

I usually dislike Disney sequels although I wouldn't mind seeing an Incredibles 2. As long as it involves Pixar.

As for a Simpsons movie. I would really enjoy that. It's something i've been wanting to see for quite awhile.

I always enjoy The Simpsons. Whether it's the first seasons or the newer seasons, it's still a great show :D

Brother Bear, Oliver and Company and The Great Mouse Detective definitely deserve sequels.

I would like The Incredibles 2 the most because super-hero movies could always use good sequels and they usually get them(Spiderman 2, X-men 2) however if Pixar's not in it, I won't see it!

And I also think Who Frammed Roger Rabbit should get a sequel. It was going to get one, but it never got the green-light after Speilberg went to Dreamworks and became friends with the "evil" Jeffery Katzenberg. But if Speilberg and Disney ever become friends again, then I would want a sequel.

I also like the idea of Fantasia 3 and Toy Story 3(if Pixar's in it)!

I'd like another South Park movie,myself....(I love South Park: Bigger,Longer, and Uncut and Team America, which was also made by the creators of South Park)....It's one of my favorite series(I loved this week's episode, where Cartman thinks he's dead because everyone's ignoring him)...

I've heard that there may be a Simpsons movie after the TV series ends....as much as I love the show,I'm not sure about a movie for the series...I'd much rather they made a Futurama movie, because I love the cast, and I was dissapointed the show ended after only four seasons...

Well, I think Disney can get away with a continuation to any Pixar movie. However, most of their animated classics should not get sequels. The ones that they've made already are horrible...what happened to the terms "original" and "creative" at Disney? At any movie studio?

Other then that I really can't think of anything right now.

Simpsons movie all the way! It would make a lot of $$$. An Incredibles sequel isn't a bad idea, but only if Pixar is involved. I would like to see another Spongebob Movie.

Yea The Simpsons Movie Wuld Make Tons of cash

I Am A Huge Spongebob Fan Thats my favorite cartoon. But The Movie Dissapointed Me a little If They made a sequel I Would See It But I Dont Really Care If They make one or not id rather just want new episodes.

I also Agree With Luna on A South Park Sequel. Is any one else here fans of the show?? Its very good an it basically makes fun of pop culture but you have to take the show as a joke. the first movie only made 50million In Theaters But IMO thats very good on the count its R an the show wasnt as popular back then. Matt and Trey said they are workin on a new movie but its a secert. I think it is a SP movie 4 one reason. The show is supposed to end at the 10th season.. so they mite have a movie after that but only time will tell.

Yeah, I'll like that week's episode where Cartman thinks he's dead.
They should totally make a sequel to South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, I wan't to see something happen to the new characters. And I can't wait until Team America comes out on DVD, I'm gonna buy that.:D

Team America Was Hilarious  .... But IMO South Park movie was better.

I dont think therell be a team america 2. The movie only made around 30million at the B.O. an that was a flop. Ppl thought it was gonna make around 70million. Plus Matt And Trey Said they hate puppets now after working on that movie so that is a other reason for no sequel

Films which should have a sequel:

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - which like the comic sequel would deal with The War of the Worlds. And unlike the Speilberg/Cruise(/Fanning Yay!) film, would do so in a period style - hopefully with lots of steampunk designs.

Batman: The Animated Series We need another Batman: TAS film, which like Phantasm would be released theatrically. Forget about Batman Begins - if ever there was a film that wasn't needed, its another "reinvention" of The Batman detailing his origin.

Freddy Vs Jason Yes, we need another cross-over movie. Personally, I could do without Ash, Myers or Pinhead. Freddy and Jason are enough.

The Incredible Hulk personally, I'd rather have a Hulk sequel than another X-Man film (but I'm open to solo films for Wolverine and Magneto). I hope the sequel could ditch the obligitary Supervillain fight that the first suffered from and be totally focussed on the emotional drama and character interactions at which the first film did so well.

Shaun of the Dead Not a sequel, but a pseudo-sequel, just like the Monty Python films could be classed as. In short, I'd love to see another Pegg/Wright movie.
