Disney films that never existed

Post by ichabod »

You know how sometimes people have the same dreams as each other, well this must as happened to most of us as some of us have imagined that 3 Disney films exist, when in fact they don't!

These three films are:

Gus
King of the Grizzlies
Johnny Tremain.

I too was foolishly under the impression that they existed too. And I sent an email to Disney asking why the UK DVD releases on Gus and King of the Grizzlies (I decided to throw in a complaint about the disappearance of last year's Johnny Tremain too) had vanished before being released.

And this is the reply I got!

"Hi, Thanks for your inquiry.

These films are not ours, they don't exist.

Regards"

well they certainly don't mince their words do they! But there it is! These films don't exist!

Just when you though BVHE UK couldn't get any worse!

Sounds like they're trying to pull an Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"These aren't the films you're looking for."
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president

Then they have seriously underestimated the powerful minds of UD-members :)
