I have a movie question (Chicken Little Advance Screening)
My dad has a friend that gets my family into being able to see many movie screeings and in November 2004 I saw an unfinished version of Chicken Little. Am I aloud to post my opinion while not giving the movie away at all? This goes for this movie and any other Disney movie that I see.

Are you asking from a legal point of view, or from a spoiler point of view?Mushu wrote:My dad has a friend that gets my family into being able to see many movie screeings and in November 2004 I saw an unfinished version of Chicken Little. Usually at these sorts of functions, they tell you one way or the other what you can/can't publish, or it is a condition of entry. Still, the internet is usually full of people who have been (or in some cases, haven't been) to these functions spilling the beans for the rest of us.
In terms of spoilers, just clearly mark them so people who don't want to know anything can avoid it.

I'd be quite interested to hear your thoughts on the film, provided you're not prohibited from sharing. I think generally, you're not allowed to share specifics, but you are able to say what you liked and didn't. So at least give us your impression of the film?

I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I had a HUGE report due recently and I was behind on it for a while. Anyway, I think that the company actually wants you to tell people about the movie as long as it doesn't spoil it to much. This way, the people that you talk to will go and see it for themselves. I thought that it was a really good movie. Although it was short (About as long as Home on the Range) I think that they still had to had some things. The plot itself had some funny moments. It was very different then I had expected. If anyone has any questions I'll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
And by the way, I'll be seeing an advanced screening of the movie, A Day with Wilbur Robinson this Thursday and will also be happy to tell anyone what I think of that movie.

I will do, but should I put it in a different topic or in this one?Luke wrote:Wow, Mushu getting to see the screenings 18 months before release? Lucky! Actually, it doesn't feel like any other Disney animated classic at all for some reason. But it definetly seems like a Disney film and not a Pixar film.Luke wrote:Either one. Regarding Chicken Little, which animated classic would you say it is most like stylistically? Does it feel closer to Disney's past films or Pixar's?Mushu wrote:I will do, but should I put it in a different topic or in this one?

A Day with Wilbur Robinson
I just got back from the screening of A Day with Wilbur Robison. According to the company, we were the first audience to see it ever which is true I guess. It was pretty much the whole movie but instead of being in CGI like it will be in 18 months, it was a a story board with pictures flashing up and some of the music was just temporary. Overall, it was a really good movie once I got past the storyboard which only took a few minutes. I would highly recomend it once it comes out. Once again, if anyone has any questions I will be happy to answer them.

Which one did you like better, Chicken Little or Wilbur Robinson? Did they have any final voices in for the Wilbur screening?

O.K. Thanks! I'm 99% sure that they were permanent beacause when one of the guys came to talk to us before the movie he told us at least most of the things that were temporary. And the voices in my opinion were very good.DisneyFan 2000 wrote:I think Luke meant, were the actors that played in the screening permanent ones or temporary voices for presentation.

A Day with Wilbur Robinson was a little less then and hour and a half. And I'm sorry to say that Chicken Little, at least to me, was not as funny as TENG but it still was funny.PatrickvD wrote:Exactly how long was Wilbur Robinson? I'm kinda bummed Chicken Little is as short as Home on the Range. Since that definitely didn't work in favour of Home on the Range. I still hope Chicken Little will be as funny as new groove.

A Day with Wilbur Robinson is a great movie! It is probably a lot better then you think. And the only celebirty voice that I've heard of in it was Mark Hamill. Though he wasn't in it that much, he was in it more then Don Knotts was in Chicken Little.Kenai wrote:Well, with Mark Dindal directing it, I'm sure it'll be awesome.
And as for Wilbur Robinson...hmm...this movie doesn't sound too appealing to me in the least, but I wonder who the celebrities are who will voice this foray?
