The Three Musketeers (Live-Action)

Post by Iago »

I love the movie! Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen et al are amazing in this, its the Pirates of the Caribbean of the 1990s.

It is such a shame that they did not make a sequel, and an even greater shame that the DVD is truly sub-standard!

Its not reviews here, but it is truly unworthy of the film and very rushed. We need a special edition very soon!

Anyone agree, or know when this might be happening?

Eh, I'd rather Disney revisit Cool Runnings or any of their films that are only presented in pan & scan on DVD like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or Tom and Huck!

They did make a sequel it is called the Man in the Iron Mask. Unfortunately, the Musketteers are thirty years old for the sequel(actually the second sequel so having the same actors was impossible).

At this point, it might be getting reasonable to remake the first sequel, which I believe is simply called 20 years later(the only Musketeers book I have not read).

As for a special edition, I agree with you. I have been putting off buying it because it was one of the first Disney DVDs out(at least by my recolleciton) and I figure it cant be that long before they upgrade it.

And I agree with Luke - Cool Runnings and Honey I Shrunk the Kids are two others I am waiting for to be released in a better edition.

But that film was MGM.
